Time for Amla to step down as skipper. Batting has gone downhill.

When Tahir gets wickets you know there are demons in the wicket

Amla is the captain??? I thought it was devilliers...hey well ya learn something new each day.. I think captains play a big role inhow teams approach games.. Amla seems very layed back..
Nz have mcclum hes up and at em.. NZ have done really well under him.
South Africa miss Smiths batting and leadership..

India all out for 173 leaving South Africa with an improbable looking 310 to win. Already 29-1. 31 wickets in two days and we still have a few overs left.

32-2 with two overs to go today. Could India call for the extra half hour

Ridiculous. 20 wickets fell today.

If you'd told South Africa that Amla and Elgar would start the day batting together and finish the day batting together, they'd have bitten your hand off!!!

What a bizarre day. Good luck to England next year when they travel to India.

This is how desperate indian cricket has become, cant even make a pitch thats even. This series has been a disgrace to test cricket.

Boss what about the wickets that you see in SA and England which have grass left on it to allow the ball to swing and seam which make it impossible for Sub Cont sides to survive?

Most people would want some semblance of fair contest. But most people also want their own side to win.

I don't see it as an issue for the home team to have some advantage, but pushing it too far is bad for cricket.

No wonder teams don't tour India. If the Delhi belly don't get you, the rank turners will.

I would rather have a pitch that produces results. than wickets like one in perth. .
Even the one in Brisbane almost ended in a draw.. it was one mad session from the kiwis..At least with leaving grass on the pitch the ball offers to do something.. bare slow pitches.. not for me..

I agree that the provide pitches that suit the home team but this is just taking it too far IMO.

Spinning like this after 1 freaking day..

Least pitches in SA/Eng/Aus are in most instances even or 60/40 in favour of the home team.

that last ball from mishra spun from offish to way past a 2nd set of stumps.

Slowly but surly 1 run at time. These 2 need to take score to 220 at least.

they've just got to hang in all day. Can see them collapsing if one of these is out.

Amla out. game over today?

They need JP to play his shots. Blocking from both ends is playing to Indians and they can set attacking fields.

I always thought they'd struggle to get to 200 especially with the turn on offer, the pressure being put on the umpires and their defensive mindset.
