Fourth. That should be our aim, especially with Chelsea massively underperforming.
Sturridge had fluid in his knee, which isn't long term. He should already be back training so considering the length of time until our next game, I think he'll at least make the bench.
I don't have any expectations of a top four spot.
Our players in general are mentally weak and have no understanding of what it takes to drive a successful team.
We need at least 3-4 good signings from Klopp before that changes and to clear away some of the dreadful wastes of money that have been signed under Rodgers to have a hope of progressing.
5th, a cup final and quarters of the Europa league would represent a step forward.
We cant expect to see substantial improvement until Klopp has been able to bring in his own players so it's about recognising what the current group are capable of.
I said 5th at the start of the season. I will stick by that no was well

Cant see fourth place to be honest..
and id agree totally ...a cup success and a window or two to see how klopp operates with transfers...
Fourth is achievable. January could be key.
6th-8th
& I would start staying until the end of the games now too, you've been told
The aim should be top 4 but cant see us getting it.
Not to bothered as am willing to give Klopp this season to begin to implement his methods and shape the team.
We haven't taken advantage of what should be the easier part of the home fixtures, so its going to be a tough ask, but 4th should still be the aim.
With Chelsea in the state they are, this is the best chance for someone to get into the champions league. We haven't taken that chance yet, but its still there.
At the same time...Lovren for a while
Manfrom I would have to say that Spurs look good to make the CL.
However I feel if City get their act together they could romp this league.
United are functional and dont get the hype around Arsenal, positions 2 - 4 up for grabs methinks but I dont think we will occupy one of them
4th and a good run in europe with the later stages of the domestic cups as well.
Cfc fluckiing up has opened the way for 4th, and considering after the next game all the traditional top teams have been played away from anfield then 4th is a solid target.
2nd half of the season klopp should have his ethos firmly embedded, injuries should of cleared up and 4th should be in our hands since all the top teams come to anfield.
Its a massive chance for 4th...it really is.
After the game away to City, we have then played all the top teams away. We need to stay close to Spurs. They are our main competitor for fourth. I am happy with a cup succes.
I wouldn't discount Southampton from the race for fourth. They've been there for a couple of seasons now and fell away at the end. They could stay on this time. Spurs could take a good lead over us in the coming month with them high on confidence, that's the worry. We need players back quickly.

1 thru 3 are all set I think. Its 4th that is wide open. I would definitely have spurs as the favourites
We aren't out of it, but we need to put together a string of wins. yesterday was a major set back imo

Am I the only one seeing things the other way round?
You should pick up a majority of your points at home. we have the hardest teams to come to Anfield, so less chance of getting a good tally of points.
To be honest fellas, talk of where teams are going to finish in early November is far too premature. Liverpool probably have as good a chance of top four as a lot of other clubs. Lots of twists and turns yet.
If we can get fully fit Studge and Henderson back, and no more injuries (God forbid!!) 4th is possible.
