Ahh

Depends. I defended Moyes and happily admit it was the right decision to sack him and backed LVG in the beginning. Who wouldn't? World class proven manager coming in - but 18months in, shed loads spent and we find ourselves fourth by virtue of our rivals being pants, we can't and don't look like scoring and our squad is another two injuries away from meltdown.

Clever, I too supported Moyes, but agreed letting him go and appointing LvG was the right decision. I think our difference is that I still support him. Yes, we have played some rubbish, with only ocassional good games, but we are fourth, and that is not only down to other teams failings.

I think that the league is much tougher because all the money has had a levelling effect. So Leicester can be top, Newcastle can beat Pool, Bournmouth can beat Chelsea. There is no one team you can say in advance that we (or anyone else) will beat.

We are spoiled after twenty years of attacking, successful teams under SAF; I am sure LvG wants the same. He has a different way of going about it, making us hard to beat first. I hope (and think) he will introduce more attacking options, and that then we will have a team to be proud of.
Still, I have often been wrong in the past, unlike the vast majority on here, so it won't be a surprise if I am again.

Good post 52. No United fan will want to watch a manager fail me included. But no United fan will sit back and accept pizz poor performance after performance with no signs of improvement and excuses on top of excuses.

Stick with your binary results and crab-style OP.

Klopp has it topped.

1 day, 1 game - disappointing but the upwards trajectory will continue.

How are you so certain. You come across like GB. Anyone can beat anyone at the moment.
Perhaps Leicester will tear you off a new one.
Who knows, not me or you.

Klopp at Utd or Arsenal or even Stoke would be miles ahead. That is the sad part for you.

I'm optimistic the team will continue to improve under Klopp, good things have happened already. Is there any reason not to consider that this could be the case??

Well,today maybe.
I am a Klopp fan as I have said on the Pool board. But nothing is guaranteed. He will have to match Rodgers second place before you know things will improve.
Football is a difficult game to predict and luck plays a part.

He's a top manager then? Good job he's with us then isn't it?? That is the happy part for Liverpool supporters.

But it is the sad part for others.

Success in sport, as in life in general, is never guaranteed. You do your best, work hard, use your tactical skills and abilities to the max. Plan meticulously, consider every eventuality and be resilient; accept that fate will play a part and be realistic - there will be setbacks. You do everything you can to give yourself the best chance.

Same as LvG then.

The manager is always at fault. It was LVG's fault yesterday that we had ten shots at goal that all missed the target.

Its the managers fault for going into a season with barely any attacking talent whatsoever. I'm sure the 6 0-0s we've had this season have to be blamed on the manager at some point.

We know LVG left us a striker lite Robb. But thanks for your useless input any way.

Not stressed at all. Just got in and watching the NFL.

I bet you have been hammering at the keyboard all weekend though.

I find it amusing you use the same medium to insult me that you seem to think is so uncool for me to use.

Much like being a homophobe insulting gáays at a gáay bar.

No ones insulting you Robb.

I am taking the pee out of you because you don't have a life.

posted on 7/12/15

Says the person insulting me for using the same medium as you. Weird. You need to get a life.

posted on 7/12/15

Again Robb, I haven't insulted you.

I feel sorry for you because you don't have much of a life.
