Yeah defo mate. I think Joshua's team have probably put the haye fight on the backburner for the time being anyway after last night. He needs a few more Dillian Whyte type fights. Good boxer though and credit to Dillian for hanging in there even though there was a chasm in technical ability.
joshua's head movement is facking poor !
and he's slow..white was getting his punches off quicker in the early rounds
i saw enough last night to have doubts about joshua when he comes up against the few quality heavyweights around
Fkin stormzy where can i buy his album
Joshua's dad " This is the result of hard work and not steroids "
AJ is another Frank Bruno and like Bruno he looks like he has a glass chin.
I take Fury to flatten him and you could see how excited Haye was after watching Dillan stagger him I think Haye fancies his chances.
i agree the way joshua looks and fights, he reminds me v v much of bruno
he seems to have the same deficiencies as a boxer too
Maybe all that muscle can be a hinderance in the long run, ive always heard boxers shouldnt be too big in the chest and arms

Has a glass chin? He took a punch that would have staggered any one in the diversion.....if anything I would be more concerned with as others have said his flat footedness and stamina.

I was out last night so just watched the fight and AJ's post fight press conference.
I'm not entirely sure where this glass chin chat is coming from, he was wobbled by a chopping left from Whyte who is supposed to carry quite a bit of power himself. I don't think he handled it well and looked really loose for the rest of the round but is that a problem with chin or lack of ring-craft at an early age? I'd say the latter. A more experienced fighter deals with that better and ties the opposition up, makes a mess of the fight whilst the head clears.
Post fight AJ admitted to mistakes and I think he knows there is still learning to be done. At least those are the words coming out of his mouth anyway.
I think he's much better than Bruno. He's an olympic gold medalist for goodness sake, granted that doesn't guarantee a good professional fighter but it shows he has, at a minimum, a basic skillset. He can box. He didn't in the first few rounds last night and personally I think he hit Whyte and got carried away, thought he could blast this guy got of there. He was wrong and he'll learn from that.
Finally, worth noting that Lennox Lewis won the British title in his 15th fight by a 7th round stoppage as well. Lewis wasn't world champion until after his 22nd fight. Now you'd expect AJ to fight for it sooner than that because heavyweight boxing doesn't have the same talent pool today but it's an interesting marker. If it took Lennox 7 more fights to get there then we shouldn't necessarily be expecting AJ to be the complete package just yet.
you can't compare the era of heavyweight boxing lewis was in, to the dire quality of now tbh

Well I acknowledged that in my post so yeah, it's not as good.
However, the learning curve is still comparable. Arguably AJ has had to do (/will have to do) more learning in the gym because of the lack of competition.
I made the comment because he seems to have gone from saviour of heavyweight boxing to glass-chinned also ran in the space of one fight! That's obviously the two extremes but you get the point.
IMO AJ will get there but there'll be bumps along the way. 2nd round (and 3rd to an extent) last night was a bump. Give him another 4-5 fights and he'll be ready for a world title challenge.
i dont think he looked truly glass chinned, like Price for example.
But i do think there are alot of similarities between Joshua and Bruno
However, in this era of heavyweight boxing, Bruno would probably be undisputed champ anyway, despite his deficiencies
