Just got over Cesc start of this year when his form dipped for the umpteenth time. Still the greatest player in past decade to have played for us though that soon won't be the case because Ozil and Messi coming next summer.

Provided his old man physical fitness is temporary, yes take him back. But it looks like he's legs are gone much like Arteta's.

That'd be my biggest concern too. One can adjust to losing a yard, but much more and players quickly become ineffective. It's hard to tell how much of that is down to form though.

Everyone knows that I wanted him back before he moved to Chelsea.

Now I am saying "no" to him. We moved on.

We have moved on Gunnerthru, which is kind of why it's more acceptable to have him back in a different role. Özil is a better player than he is and Ramsey has more energy. Bringing Cesc back would be about depth.

I can't help but feel Cesc is a disruptive presence in the changing room. He had a few "incidents of character" at Arsenal and didn't appear to fight very hard for a place at Barca (although I concede that may be unfair- I don't know all the details).
He's not set the world alight at Chelsea but in theory, if he he weren't to be a negative personality then I would love to have him back.
