mind that playoff game with Watford and Leicester? Scenes!
DEEEEEEEEEEEENEEEY!!!!!!
We try and play Barcelona tactics, walk the ball into the net without the quality staff to do it, 442 keeps it nice and simple, players know where their meant to be and domestically at least we should have the quality to play 2 strikers.
I do agree about the buy-to-sell logic having an impact on mentality, short-termism for sound business reasons but it's sucking the life out of the place when we know any potential 'talisman' will be off to Southampton in a transfer window.
know what the problem is?
we have scheidt players.

Lawwell is a shrewd judge of the mood of the supporters. He knows that we are sick of the buy to sell philosophy
He's clearly decided on a new approach and it's just taking some time to settle in.
Basically it involves buying players who are so rank rotten that we'll never be able to sell them.
He's a shrewd one alright.
Calum McGregor pulling the strings in midfield! No harm to him but really? Is Scott Allan not worth a start? Then when we do bring him on we stick him on the left wing in the Armstrong role.
When we threw Cole on I thought ok let's get the ball forward quicker and support the two strikers from midfield OR try to get some width and get a few crosses in from better positions.
We did neither. Just continued to pass the ball from left to right in front of the Motherwell defence. We are so easy to defend against at times.
That's Hearts, Kilmarnock and Motherwell at home and we've managed one deflected goal with the opposition goal keeper not actually having much to do.
Pathetic.
Fckin atrocious man. Takes our only player with a bit of pace off and leaves the team completely unbalanced(started like that too) with 3 similar players in McGregor, Rogic and Commons, all slow and left footed.
Why didn't he use his final sub? Tierney was quite clearly blowing out his erse after 60mins, put Izaguirre on ffs, least he'd get us up the pitch.
We're going absolutely nowhere

McGregor has been vastly improved of late since moving into the middle but on Saturday he was awful.
Allan I wanted to come on but he came on out left and was awful. It's another case of us putting central players into the wide positions and hoping it will work.
We're easy to work out, Deila is easy to work out, teams know how to play against us and our manager has no answer to it, we could easily have been beat 4 or 5-1 on Sat. Motherwell looked organised, broke with pace and were a real threat in front of goal. An ageing Scott McDonald ripped us apart.
Also, Craig Gordon is shiite at saving penalty's. Not one he's saved for Celtic and always dives before the ball is hit
It's ok though, Celtic have just tweeted to say GMS is our star guitar man.
Embarrassment/
Motherwell hit us fast on the counter. Exactly as Molde did. We could see it coming yet our players couldn't.
We had no final ball the entire first half but somehow when we had Cole and Ciftci on into everyones favourite 4-4-2 we went to hoofing the ball to the two big lumps up front.
Aye bit Ciftci scored two last week

know what annoyed me this year, off the park, see when our Europa league group came out there was an advert on the radio giving it "come see the stars of Fenerbache! Nani! Robin Van Persie!"
wit?
what about come see celtic ya bams!
I'm delighted it's another few weeks before our next home game, couldn't face it.
Another thing, did anyone else see that c@wk Boyata sarcastically clap the fans after he made an erse of something?

That tells you exactly where our club see us. Forget all this scheidt about spending millions to be in the CL.
Our board are happy to mix it with teams who have 1 or two star names.
they see the fans as a cash piñata no more, no less.
they do my nut in they really do.
Aberdeen look like a better side than us right now

NNH....I was looking at Boyata and thinking wtf is he doing with the clapping stuff.
If that's what he's doing he's making a big mistake. Says a lot about the mindset of the rubbish modern footballer.
Excuses excuses.... all this crap about not having enough funds we have spent more than almost everyone we played in Europe over the last 2 years and should at least be able to complete with teams like Molde.
What we have is a poor scouting system and a cheap, clueless manager who should have been shown the door last year!
We need a manager who has a clue and a backbone to get the board to buy the players he wants.
Mags, it definitely was what he was doing, Craig Gordon had to shove him to get him to stop it.
