1.29 - Manchester United have averaged just 1.29 goals per game in the league this season; their lowest average since 1989-90 (1.21). Blunt.
Fellaini has for the most part been poor this season, yet he has at times looked dangerous. Don't mind him at #10.
If he is CM however with Schneiderlin left out...
United subs: Romero, Borthwick-Jackson, McNair, Varela, Pereira, Schneiderlin, Rooney #mufc
United Twitter has Herrera in CM with Carrick

that's fine with me then
Morgan on the bench. Wtf LVG?
Also this should disclose any crap about Rooney having a clause in his contract where he must play every game.
I know we all know it, but that bench is shocking in terms of attacking talent who might be able to come on and change the game in our favour if needed. I'll be amazed if we don't sign a forward in Jan

Stoke XI to face #MUFC : Butland, Johnson, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Pieters, Whelan, Cameron, Arnautovic, Afellay, Shaqiri, Bojan
We've been linked with a Japanese striker playing at Mainz today in a couple of newspapers.
Stokes front 4 looks so much more dangerous than ours
Very tasty front four by Stoke.
We could have played McNair at RB in order to have the option of Young/Depay on the bench
Just saw that Robb. Muto or something? Anyone know anything about him?
Mata, Herrera, Depay, Martial - our front 4 is not bad at all. I wouldn't swap ours for theirs.

Even though it might be Fellaini, it sounds better to put Herrera there
Mcnair would be a disaster tbh. He was constantly outsprinted by Glenn Murray of all players against Bmouth.
Imagine him up against Bojan? Ouch
Id have preferred Varela at RB. Hate playing players out of position.

It's always 4-2-3-1 under Van Gaal now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Errr, it was 4-1-4-1 only last weekend
When we have the ball, Carrick will sit deepest, and Fellaini and Herrera will support the forwards.
Imagine the outrage on here if Stoke run straight through the centre ala Norwich and they score.
