Good composed performance, thought the ref was a prat, and Wood .............what can I say that hasn't been said already
Bring on Derby
Come Onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds!!!

Wood doing what he seems to of always done. Go to a club score a fair few then go really average.
"then go really average. "
Oh boy, can't wait............really average will be a vast improvement on really crap
Really average is what we say here for garbage
Wood had a good game when we started actually playing through him, missed a good chance but the ball is too far behind him and he doesn't see it coming.
His all around play is generally better than it was before, rest of the team needs to utilise him more for what he is capable of doing.
Thought we were too slow tonight, need more of an attacking impetus to hit them going forward. We should have won because they didn't look like a great team.
Kudos to Evans for changing our style and, once again, in doing so managing to get us a tough, hard earned point.
Good point Leeds, thought you deserved it, nothing between two decent mid-table teams. Now do us both a favour and slaughter the sheep.
Cheers Reddave, thought we deserved a bit more tbh

Forest had enough chances when breaking fast against a creaky Leeds defence to have been at least two ahead before the equaliser. Leeds started playing footy when the Italian came on and. Worked a good goal. Draw was about fair in the end. Cracking atmosphere.
Highland, can't say either team did enough to win it, we both failed to work the keeper enough, either team, with a proven finisher could make the play off's, a Jordan Rhodes or Charlie Austin, but neither of us can pay 35k plus per week, so we have to make do. It will be interesting to see where we both are when w e come to Leeds.
I would be disappointed as a Forest fan to see my team set up to play counter attacking football at home, especially when starting with two up top. Surely you can't be happy with the amount of possession you had against a "creaky" Leeds team
Not far wrong Reddave but you certainly had the edge on us with your strikers, I thought with our possession and composure we should have done more but we were pretty poor in the final 3rd, Chris Wood is not a Ross McCormack unfortunately .
I see your point Lubo, but like yourselves we have to build some confidence and play to our strengths, it isn't always pretty to watch but at least we understand as a team what is required, and we are becoming more determined and difficult to beat, a bit like you boys under SE. Good luck against the sheep.

Given the embargo and more than a few quality players long term injured, Forest set up as well as they could in the circumstances. It's all about being in contention for the second half of the season for both teams ultimately. Forest have been at their best as a counter attacking side over the years and it has served them well in the main.
Nice open game, Leeds dropped 2 points, Bellusci and Wood cost us, Silvestri partly to blame for goal too!
Be interesting to see lineup on Tuesday, will be watching at Legends in NYC.

We dropped 2 points as well, so if we go back and look for them then there's 4 points at the City Ground somewhere. That'd come in handy.

Perhaps you dropped yours before the game with your tactics and/or lineup.
If you were at the game or watched it on tv, you might have noticed Leeds dominated this game. Less than stellar final ball and awful finishing are the objective factors that make the statement that Leeds dropped 2 points legitimate.
Game stats of possession, shots taken and corners may support that too.
See you at Elland Road in a few weeks!

We had more shots and hit the post at the end, so there's objectivity for you. We dropped 2 points.
^^ as for Leeds.......one ball skyed when it would have been easier to score and another where our "striker" fluffed it also when it seemed easier to score rule out your shot on the post
I think Forest made the Leeds keeper work a lot more than Leeds made DDV work. That is the key factor for me. Leeds seemed to be hoping Wood would get hold of one of those chipped up crosses Leeds were throwing up into the box but he was our best defender!
Seems a little strange when the opposition rely on an away player to help them out!.
But than, they had a little more help from the mindless few at the back, I mean, what a dumb ass assist they got there eh?.
But, I'd think a draw was a fair result even if it is for two sets off fans that want to do a bit off bone picking, the turkey sandwiches shouldn't have to many bones left to pick now!.
Spot On Will Scarlett..........it's obvious Wood has an affinity with Forest
Its points dropped for forest as we were at home, and we have the better players. On the day leeds played slightly better and may well have won the match, but thats why forest fans should be disappointed because we were far below our level while this is the best leeds will fare all season, new manager bounce and all...
Hope this clears things up
...er,....no!..
"new manager bounce and all..."
Have you's got a new manager, funny, they usually have a habit off doing well their first few games, our's has been with us a few months now and he's finally getting the player's to put in a shift!..
Odd that, he's doing what the bossmanagers been trying to do for nearly 2yrs, he's getting our player's to use a football, a shame he didn't have the rights to bring in his own player's, that way we'd more than likely have the speedy player's our team miss!..
Just think what might have been if our team had a little more speed!.
