Klopp signs the guy who had a torrid time when we beat Soton 6-1 last month... Interesting.

I'd much rather Caulker play for us then Enrique

I'm surprised we've signed him but I suppose it's better than playing Enrique or Ilori there again!

Strange one, presumably we have been knocked back on other choices so have gone down the list and ended up here.

He has had a bad few years as he looked decent back when he was at Swansea on loan that season.

His career has gone backwards since. He can head it, and we lack in the air, that's the positive. Not sure about the rest of his play but we will find out.

Again suggests that there is no faith in Ilori at the club.

Confirmed, not really bothered by it as it's only a loan, he's got a mistake in him but Ilori is clearly lacking fitness so we need someone else. Don't see what the big deal is, rather we didn't force ourselves to spend silly money on a player purely because we have injuries and it's January.

Also did anyone see Lovren saying that Liverpool fans made a mistake berating him just when we were starting to warm slightly to him.

It is a bit out of left field, but let's be honest, he's a warm body, nothing more. Probably on the bench while our other defenders get fit, then that'll be that. There's a reason it's a 6 month loan and not a permanent signing.

Maybe Klopp has someone lined up in the summer who he can't sign now. Not sure who people think we could get on loan to the end of the season who'll be much better, especially as he'll probably only be back up when everyone else is fit.

I can't imagine he is any better than Wisdom really but as others have said it's better than having Enrique in there.

What the hell?! Caulker can't even get a game for Soton at the moment, they even play Yoshida above him!

He was a promising young player who never really made the grade in the EPL. To me this signing is right up there with Bogdan for sheer bafflingness.

If Caulker is the answer then I clearly don't understand the question

Caulker hasn't even played since that game!

Maybe we are getting Caulker to help Sturridge improve in training for his pre season.

Caulker > Enrique

So Klopp lied about Toure being fit for tomorrow's game?
