Never been a Allen fan but he was harshly dropped after his Stoke performance. I'd have him ahead of Milner for sure.

It's always a clean slate with a new manager in place. Ignore reputations, everyone fighting for their place and everyone getting a fair crack. I think Allen is making his case very well.

Could it be that wee Joe has sprouted some balls, because his future with the club is on the line?

He has ability but all too often appeared inhibited by fear.

All is forgotten
-------------------
I don't think I'll ever forget his miss in the Derby a few years ago but on the back of a good performance vs Stoke, no look pass and his goal last night.

He deserves his chances!

Ability was never the problem with Joe.

That run against Arsenal when he first joined will forever live in my memory

Fingers crossed he takes this new chance at a restart

He seems to be getting further up the pitch into goalscoring positions more often these days.

Ibe is looking like he is progressing better now too.

Really hope Joe Allen makes it - I think he has a chance of really thriving under Klopp. I like having a Welshman in the team - they seem to do ok usually...>John Toshack, Ian Rush, Joey Jones, Dean Saunders, Craig Bellamy...hopefully Harry Wilson wil lcome through this / next year - he could be special.

I've hammered Allen in the past. Judgement reserved but I wish him the very best of luck in proving me wrong!

Joe is a battler and seems to perform better in big games.

He's a decent squad player, especially the way Klopp plays with his energy and technique.

He looked a goner a month ago but credit to him for fighting back.

It's no longer Allen getting known as Pirlo anymore. The real Pirlo is getting known as Allen.
