very dangerous fight for AJ at this stage i think.
Haye wont fade like Whyte did after catching him big, he'll continue to hit him with big shots and eventually fold him up in a corner.
But if AJ uses the Wlad
But if AJ uses the Wlad tactic and keeps Haye at arms length, then Haye could struggle!
im 70/30 in favour of Haye with this one
Dont believe the hype Joshua, you are going on to much better and bigger things than this guy (poorly toe)

Haye is looking to make big bucks as soon as possible,he has realised that he's getting on a bit and wants to make haye ! while the sun shines .I don't blame him , because I think that at this moment in time ,he would beat AJ.

Yep definitely. That's why he is calling for the fight now. Depends on Eddie hearn. If he is looking for a short term gain then he will make the fight but if he is looking longer term which I think he is then he will wait until AJ is more polished up before putting him in with Haye..

Joshua should forget about this for a year or so, target the European belt for now.
Fight on April 9th then target Helenius in the summer. If he can get a fight with Charles Martin towards the end of the year, fine, then think about the likes of Fury and Haye next year.
You can understand why Haye wants it now, he'll have looked at the Whyte fight and felt Joshua was a counter puncher's dream at the moment.
Haye is making noise about what he perceives as the biggest fight he can get before a title opportunity comes along. He’s 35, injury free for the first time in 3.5 years; he can’t really afford to hang about.
Plus I think he regrets not fighting enough credible heavyweights last time around and has been stung by the resulting criticism. Rightly or wrongly I think he looks at taking on AJ as a way to silence those critics.
If, and it is a big if at this point, he can perform at the level he was at prior to injury I think he deals with AJ comfortably. Haye is a naturally gifted boxer in a way that AJ, to me, does not appear to be at present. Haye’s power, speed, movement and defence will be too much for a currently limited and easy to hit AJ.
AJ does have the equaliser though ie tremendous knock out power.
I think this fight will happen this year, Hearn takes some risks with his fighters, more so than Warren at any rate. Haye brings stadium filling and PPV gold to the table. Money will talk etc.
Does Haye bring big PPV money though, his last fight was on Dave ffs.
He might well have had that before we had the farce with Fury but I really don't think he has the pulling power anymore. To be honest I don't think AJ has anything to gain from taking this fight now, he won't win any plaudits for beating Haye and he stands to lose a great deal if he loses the fight. He also has more pulling power than Haye right now.
Haye has the marmite factor, love him or hate him I strongly suspect people will pay to watch. Even if only to see him get KTFO. Especially against currnet golden boy AJ
too many people getting sucked in by Haye, he bottled it against Klitschko and isn't in Joshua's league at all

I've watched Haye for many years. What he says is irelevant, I know he was a very very good boxer. Weather he is now or not is uncertain. I suspect he is still a good boxer and the truth is more likely you don't know what your talking about.

Guv I'd disagree. Haye does have the pulling power. 16000 at the 02 in a non word title fight without sky promotion. Yes he promoted himself hard over twitter and insta and various other platforms but it worked
The wilder show didn't get even half the fans haye pulled in @ the 02.
But yeah he's here for the money. That's why he's called out AJ right now before he develops. I don't see Eddie taking it just yet though.
Haye beats AJ right now though. Quicker than him. More mobile across the ring and he's a better boxer.
Joshua is not going to be thrown in against Haye any time in the near future.
It's way too early for him.
Haye is mouthing off because he's skint. Good. Hopefully this will motivate him to prove he's a genuine Heavyweight rather than a blown up Cruiserweight who pulls out of big fights, or makes feeble excuses when he loses them.
Iloved watching Haye's rise through the rankings at Cruiser. He was great to watch and was always destined to be a World Champion. However, his loss to Vlad and his treatment of Fury means he has a lot to do to prove he is or he was the real deal at HW.
Yeah thats really it Paisley. The treatment of fury was the one where a lot of people lost faith in him.
haye needs to put up or shut up n retire

No doubt Haye would make a ton of cash from fighting AJ but it's a risk for him as well.
Lots of people saying it's a good time to face AJ and they're absolutely right, but Haye has been in a competitive ring for 131 seconds in the last 3.5 years! AJ might reckon there's still a bit of ring rust on Haye and fancy it.
I'd still have my money on Haye but I wouldn't be confident about it.
Don't understand why he isn't targeting belts anyway, Fury won't fight him (for good reason) so start plotting the quickest possible path to Wilder or Martin.
