You say "he promised so much and is delivering very little".The only way to measure what he's delivered is through silverware and in the last 2 seasons he's delivered that. He's still in with a good shout of delivering more this season too given that we're in the maximum amount of competitons which we could be at this stage of the season. Yes we're very likely to be out of the champions league next week but the 2 domestic trophies are within reach and so it's unfair to say he's "delivering very little".
Good article. Wenger did so much for this club, he's the most influental manager in our history. But he is way to bigheaded to see, what his weakness is - his ideas aren't up-to-date. I can also see first signs of senile stubbornness in his behavior. He missed his chance to go after last years FA cup win.
Also to say you're "enjoying this" is just an extremly strange and worrying statement from an arsenal fan.
Has it got to the stage where some fan's dislike of wenger means that they're happy to see the team suffer if it means wenger suffers too? I know the supposed "akb" people are claimed to make wenger bigger than the club but I would suggest that those enjoying the team's suffering if it's accompanied by Wenger's suffering are far more guilty of this.
I do feel the whole thing is coming to an end very soon.
I just hope he does the noble thing and calls it a day at the end of the season. Let's be honest, he has ruined his legacy by continuing longer then he should have.
Hopefully he can leave on a high if we managed to somehow win the Fa cup again

----------------------------------------------------------------------
To explain the point above, people who are labelled as 'akb' are labelled in this way due to their belief that Wenger is the best man to deliver success for Arsenal- their main desire is the success of arsenal fc and they believe for various reasons that this can best be obtained through having wenger as manager. I don't see this as making wenger 'bigger' than the club at all, as these fans have the success of the team at heart.
On the other hand you, who would probably be labelled as part of the 'wob', suggested that you're enjoying the team's downfall if wenger's downfall is brought with that. That state of mind does make wenger 'bigger' than the club in my opinion, as you're making the outcome for wenger more important than the outcome for the team. That's a dangerous state of mind for the fanbase to have.
I'm sure there are fans out there that genuinely think wenger is the best man for the job. However, within that fan base there are also loads that support wenger rather than the club.
I won't be suprised if when wenger leaves, these fans go with him
Castor, when and if Wenger retires, why would I go and support another football club. There is no one out there who supports Wenger more than the club I would suggest.
His time may be up and I understand our fans frustrations but ultimately we fans are not currently helping the team either. Let's make our negative feelings heard at the end of the season

If the fans hadn't seen this sort of $hit on numerous occasions then I don't think they'd be too frustrated. The manager and the players need to start repaying the fans. We may not win certain games but the least you expect is desire and passion, but in a number of games this season that has been completely missing. How can fans keep supporting that?
I think Wenger is a gentleman and has been one of the greatest managers this country has ever seen.
The problem for me is not just results but what a manager says after matches
Rogers was a first class muppets and talked nonsense whilst Klopp says it how it is
I get Wenger isn't a great loser but I like this non of the top managers are but this week he said when asked about the title race "we've beaten Leicester twice so we've done our bit" ...... This drove me crazy and I am a Liverpool fan
Arsene leave the talking b0llox to the likes of McLaren
Si Wenger's the only manager who does this? I think you need to watch every manager under pressure. They always attack reporters. Lvg has been so all season, Mourinho too before the sack. Unnecessary article really.

We have lost the same amount of games as Leicester and Spurs combined this season. Even if we win the League, I do not see any real difference in quality between this side and any of our recent sides.

Wenger: “I’m always sitting here... I’m good enough to do the job... I find that a bit boring in the end. I always have to convince you that I am... I am... on Twitter. I... go out to dinner... If it’s not good enough, someone will tell me one day. That’s all I can do. I do not worry... a proper way and with full commitment... everybody has... an opinion. I... accept my mistakes... believe me, I do that. I... have... for such a long time... with full commitment. That’s all I can do.”
Good Post OP.
I wish Wenger would go this summer and we can finally all move on. I realistically except him to see out his contract so that means the 2016/2017 will be another 'lost' season ( I cannot imagine PL standard being so low again). As long as he goes in 2017, at least there is closure.
I couldn't give a stuff about Wenger's sensibilities. He should have gone years ago. What a failure he's made of this seasons opportunity, but I suppose that's what should be expected from him after so many failures I suppose.
Hopefully this season brings the final curtain down on the Wenger era and hope and pride is reinstalled at the club that we have a manager that can win the Champions league and not blow winnable trophies through sheer incompetence like Wenger's spectacularly done this season.

Anyone got a video of this interview?
A lot of people say Wenger fans support him over the club, I think a lot of 'WOB's' are so consumed with their anti Wenger agenda that they can't support the club, e.g. so many fans on here who disappear when we win. Imagine not being able to enjoy your own club winning.

Trouble is my half (data bus) friend - is that we are passionate about the club, and we just have not won in a while - so the perception is that WOB's just disappear when we win - which is wrong. If anything the AKB's appear only when we win and I am including that half-witted deluded gob-sh1te Codpiece.
In any event the John Cross has this piece - a journo respected an on the 'inside'.
