Apart from Iniesta have Barca got anyone that's a natural leader? It's not as important as made out.
Plus we are a bit spoiled from our 04-12 leaders but sometimes that can even be detrimental, as Scolari and AVB found out.
no coincidence that bothvwere crap managers.
I don't watch Barca so can't comment, but either City or Arsenal should have the league wrapped up by now, but their lack of leaders has cost them.
Cech and Mertrsaker are leaders, but like I said having so many leaders in one side like we did is a rare thing.
Also this bunch have shown a fair bit if character in recent weeks vs Everton, Saints and United to fight back from an adverse situation, especially United as they had to witness a team mate go off with a natty injury then go behind moments later, showed a lot of character to get back.
Tbh my main worry about tommorow is Cahill and Ivan in defence, it's typical that we finally get a manager tht puts Gary on the bench were he should have been from day one and he gets back in by default.
My main worry is not Cahill and Azpi's side but Ivanovic and Rahman, channel between them.
That's where most of our goals have been conceded under Hiddink, in that back four.
PSG, Saints, Norwich, Stoke all in that space for players to run onto ball and score.
Terry and Azpi on that side are a big loss.
Not comfortable with Ivanovic CB and Baba LB defending.
However I do feel we will win this somehow.
we have a record of just losing these ties....the odd goal or away goal....
I fear this may be one of those
We need a bit of steel and a lot of muscle tonight , lets bully them !
Goals works for me, whichever way they come just to get through.
I really miss Lamps and Drogs...
