when he fails to get Top 4

Not so much about a question Op, but an answer.

We NEED a new manager next season without a doubt. We need the next guy to take us forward from Wenger next season to a consistently higher level than Wenger has been able to achieve.

We're going to have to be right on top of things if we are going to compete with the others next season. The competition is going to be so much harder next season that's for sure.

The league has been won by city chelsea and united since we won it. All those teams were in a better position financially than us. Why should Arsenal expect to finish above teams that spend more? Imagine if all those years ago we could buy the likes of hazard, aguero, pretty sure we would have won a lot more. we have only just started to add world class players to our squad when we couldnt before?

Also I hate this nonsense that has started recently with the "wenger must retire if spurs or leicester win the league" Why? For the first time another manager will have finished above wenger whilst spending less. Praise the abilty and efforts of that manager, for an exceptional achievement and give them their dues. Dont just arrogantly assume that we should be winning everything

It is already the right time for the board to question Wenger. They won't though cos the owner doesn't give a fack about football beyond his profits and "consultancy" fees, the CEO is a Wenger lackey and the rest of the board are voiceless, irrelevant, old farts.

You can't fool around with Wenger's arrogance at a club like Bayern when you have Beckenbauer, Rummenigge, and Hoeness in the boardroom.

Sheriff when you say arrogance? in what sense?

I've always thought he was stubborn and perhaps believed in his own 'genius' when people talk about the gems he brought in, in his earlier days.

If Wenger has any gut it would be the other way around. He should be the one questioning the board. On paper we are one of the richest teams in the world and yet we behave like misers.

Arsenal fans have simply forgotten, or never even experienced what having a bad manager is really like

United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs (they've had a dozen), City....bascially every club bar Arsenal have had shiitte managers and actually know what it's really like.

Exactly. The issue is because we are so used to what wenger delivers we disregard it and slate him for not achieving the next step. I have always said arsenal under wenger are a few tweaks away from being great. Yet it's seems most now want a new manager to try to reach the next level whilst ignoring inevitability that most managers will fail even to achieve Wengers minimum of top four

LvG, a proven world class manager with the obvious skills to take you to the next level, should be available this summer

go for it

Wenger is not a bad manager. He was a great manager and is now mediocre - achieving nothing more than expectation. Par achievement isn't bad. The problem is when par achievement becomes the peak of your expectations for a decade, then it becomes clear you need a new direction. Please, stop lecturing us about Wenger. The funny thing is just about every single rival fan I know hopes we keep him, cos our stagnation is assured.

LVG is past it despite greater accomplishments than Wenger. The difference between him and Wenger is he hasn't had 20 years to build a club as he likes.

I think he's stagnated a bit, but his quality and (recent) achievements are being significantly underestimated is all.

I doubt there is any level of incompetence or ineptitude by Wenger that wouldn't be excused.
No defeat too bad,
no transfer window too symbolic,
no tactics too incomprehensible,
no amount of seasons without a trophy too shameful, no amount of BS Wenger too insulting to intelligence,
No level too low for AKB to stoop to.....
Just to keep Wenger in his position only because they fear change.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING can demonstrate Wenger is finished more than he has already done this season.

If he cannot overcome the likes of Leicester and Tottenham, what on earth makes anyone other than AKB's think we will compete next season if he is allowed to remain in charge ?
