It's true they have been very quiet on the news front. You would have thought that after the last regime and the stick they came under for not involving the fans, that Deano being an ex player would have been more forthcoming on informing the fans. One thing is for sure, he is going to need them on board whatever league we end up in.

This Sunday at 14.30 sees the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley contested between Barnsley and Oxford two teams and routes to their grounds we know well and will need to follow soon.
How long it is before we reach the dizzy heights of winning a few tins of paint as opposed to a minibus is anybody's guess still it should remind us of happier bygone times when we were starting to rise.
Book a day off this Sunday and watch it dream about how nice it would be in maybe 5 years to see our club doing so well we may be in with a chance to win some paint.

I prefer to look further ahead - Grimsby v Halifax on 22 May provides a glimpse of the excitement and glamour that could await us if we string a decent cup run together

Ah the mention of Grimsby brings back memories of the dart board fire incident happy days (it was not me it was him he was on fire with them arrows).
But for a truly authentic repeat of history I believe we have to sink lower yet I have every confidence in SS being able top take us there.

Going to be a massive culture shock next season. Less than 10000 on a regular basis, fa cup starting in November, no bye to the third round. Johnstone paints trophy. Can't wait to see the crowd on a Tuesday night at the macron for those games.

6/1 at BetVictor Gary Neville.
If what the bookies are thinking around us is close enough to being correct we may see return of the special word before we get a season of no dilemma's under our belt.

I wonder what the prices will be? Premier League prices or division one prices?

You can bet we will be the most expensive club to watch in that division. Too many overheads and possibly too may overpaid players.

Only good thing i can see from relegation at least play fixtures on the weekend of the international breaks, lessening the mid week league fixtures which i am not a fan of.

The pricing will be interesting next season. Paying £26 a month over a year at the moment but find the actual match day prices very expensive by comparison. Think ots £27 for a league game at the moment. Would go £15 league games and a tenner cup to try to get people to the ground.

Benny you'll have to convince Dean and Co to change the SS motto at your prices.
How they come up with a formula to keep gate numbers up and prices affordable after this season may be beyond a start up company. Convincing fans at whatever price is going to be very hard when the fans still have no idea what the SS have in mind for the club.

Would rather set a price to get people to the ground and get them spending at the bar or the shop. Need to have the fanzone open after the match and show the late prem game and get them spending there rather than scotts.

It's only pennies in the food and drink in the big picture of finances we'll b pushing it to give away a franchise due to the low margins in the lower league.
We'll be looking for low costs and high profits to make this SS model work and return a profit to the investors. Producing players other higher placed teams want is where the good money is to be made throw in a cup run as bonus cash for a club like ours forget aiming for the big time without backers with real money to take losses in the hope of a return one day in the higher leagues.

Non the wiser after reading the ST meeting blog via Beano!

The ST once the blue eyed boys of the Beano are swept under the rug this morning with not a mention. You would have thought Marc could have humoured readers with something like an article titled
BWFCST The Edsel of Supporters Trusts.
If not that maybe some suggestions of how to spend and what you can get for a tenner aimed at all those wise folk who didn't hand over any money.

There will be much scratching of heads at the sports desk this morning trying to work out how to spin that meeting check the late edition for an update see if and how they get on.

Marc might jump on the secret meeting with john carver in a Manchester hotel story. That and the Gary Caldwell rumour surely have to be April fools.

I must have missed the April fools day jokes?

There won't be anything to put a smile on our faces never mind making us laugh.
