Afternoon. Bad feeling about this. Will be lucky to scrape a draw methinks.
Fin and Dixie going for the comment centuries, will be as close as we get to true sporting endeavour tonight.
I expect the visual definition of turgidity to be the best we can expect on the pitch.
Hull City ffs!
My biggest hope is that we have shown that we have the potential to do the unexpected. So this time I'm banking on a pleasant surprise, like the away game at Hull.
Who knows, a couple of bits of genius from Tom, arguably our best player at the moment, a solid performance from the back 4 and it could be a good night.
Should be OK. Got the braai ready to go, warm and sunny overlooking the Atlantic in the shadow of Chapman's Peak and will follow the game on here. Have to say that visiting Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope was utterly spectacular.
No reason why at home we should not take all 3points.

Tosser.
I'm not as down about this game as others, Hull weren't afraid to play against us so finally we should be able to get some space to play, if we can remember how to do it, unless after we spanked their bums they're gonna go all frig. on us.
We seem to play better when we're not the favourites, the only issue would be if we do something stupid and make drastic changes and start with a 2 man central midfield or some similar desperate attempt.
Do we start with Butters though poor at the weekend but got lots of space at Hull, until Bruce switched it up anyway. Still feel like that scoreline flattered us but so far it was prolly the high point of a turgid season.
For me go with Bryson, Christie back at Right Back, is Hendrick fit? If so start with Bent up front, we're not reaching Martin anyway so it doesn't matter that much and use the space we can get from him pushing their defence back to push Bryson and Hendrick into. Then bring Martin, Hughes and Camarra on for the ole's when 4-0 up.
Believe.
If you take the other coast road out of Hout Bay, heading North, that's Victoria Road: I saw the heir to the Ferrero Rocher empire die on that road
That was the 2011 trip, when I got married to the present Mrs 666 at Buitenverwachting wine farm. We stayed just up from Hout Bay, in Houtkapperspoort.
I am not in the least bit jealous.
PS: Wellies- O'Hendrix is out for a few games.
Right so Butters it is then .... f.ck it let's still go with Bent.
Predicted changes:
Christie for Hanson
Russell for Butters (BJ to play in the midfield 3)
If I see Bent in the starting lineup then I know we'll lose. When he has had the odd chance he has looked disinterested to say the least. Martin is our only goal scorer of late, so let's drop him.
I think you may well be right MILF, but I'd rather keep Butterfield and drop Johnson. I would not be surprised if Thorne isn't "rested" and Hanson starts in midfield, Thorne has got away with some poor performances recently. Sad when you think how good he was before his injury.
There's a nice little righthander at Jeffrey's Bay if you have a good south, south easterly swell coming in.
Locals can give a bit of aggro and the paddle out can be a bit tricky, a bit sharky too but once they know you follow the Derby you should be grand, on the way to Port Elizabeth it is Good for a beginner.
That's the chicken/eggconundrum though, VC:
is the way that we set up so focussed on Coldplay that nobody else has any chances, hence his scoring percentage, or if we set up in a different formation without him as the focal point, would we score more goals from more positions?
Frankly, I'd play him. He's got goals in him, and so I'd include him whether we be 442, 4321, 451, 352, 433, and so on.
VC10 Ram not dropping him just bringing him on later when the game has opened up more as a closer instead of an opener?
What makes you reckon BJ will start in the middle Milf, you could be right, was it Butters performance?
I drove on that road last night I think 666, to Camps Bay. Some berk overtook me on a blind bend as it happens but survived. I climbed Lion's Peak yesterday and chanced upon a woman who had managed to fall several metres and hurt her back. She had probably broken it somewhere but was moving her legs OK. I used all my training and told the gathering crowd it was best to leave her where she was and wait for the helicopter. It blew dust in my eyes when it arrived to whisk her off.
Just landed at Luton on my way to Pride Park
Still stuck in Ontario don't think I'm going to make it

A sheer blind faith that he'll eventually rediscover his Norwich form and early Rams form.

...whatever happened to Lorraine Chase?
Already been to pride park this afternoon as I drove up from Pompey. Picked my lad up the black goalkeeper kit he's been after for his birthday for less than half price 👍
Doesn't matter who he picks tonight if we persist with this same formation and tactics that everyone has figured out.
