Who are the big hitters?We don't need big hitters.We need players with great technique and who can easily rotate the strike,play riskfree cricket,build partnerships in matches and only 2-3 big hitters.

We got Asif and Haris in the squad. These are decent backups. Your cousin Shafiq is like TLLL said a snail. He could not rotate the strike. He is a test level player.

Scored 18.. just one run short of his average in England of 19... guy will be a liability for us in the World Cup. Plays well in Asian conditions or vs Asian teams but he’s played a zillion games and you only have to look at his shoddy record vs the likes of NZ Aus and england to know he’s gona let you down when needed the most...

Actually Afridi14 tells a fair point about Shoaib Malik but we need experience in the team.Junaid Khan needs to be playing in ODIs but I think he got injured.Perhaps,this was the reason he didn't play after 1st ODI v New Zealand.

Pakistan currently ranked 7th in test cricked behind Srilanka and Newzealand. Pakistan are signifcantly better than this, perhaps 4th. The ranking system is screwed , points are rewarded on basis of results been better/worse against same opponent in the previous series they played together.

Hassan Ali is the only bowler that plays across all formats . I reckon he is the best exponent of reverse swing in Pakistan , thats why he is selected for all formats.
