I think it's more a marketing ploy for the new stadium.

I wish kroenke was as willing to take risks at arsenal as he is with the rams

apparently they didn't break the story the day before because of Kobe

Does seem a bit much... So, whos taking Wentz in our draft next season?

posted on 16/4/16

I was convinced that they must be after Wentz.

But I've flipped now.

I forgot that Goff was from Cal.

Rams need to build up a new fan base in LA, a lot of those guys are already Cal/Goff fans.

They will take Goff, for off field reasons as much as on.

They'll go for Goff for now for same reasons Mick has said above.

Ok then, so whos taking Goff in our draft next season?

No one will take Goff unless they draft a second QB

Even then probably not

if its a marketing ploy it will be for Goff but i seriously doubt any team gives up that much for a marketing ploy. It s a win now move which tells me its for Goff.

The Rams are in win now mode, although with the head coach they have they could have Tom Brady as QB and they still wouldnt win, and thats obviously why they have done it. Goff has to be the pick as Wentz will take at least a year to come through, if he ever does. Slight overpay but it makes sense. Apparently the jets tried to move up too which doesnt surprise me. With the right qb and with their coach they would be instant contenders.

If you find room between crap running backs

That's what I get for slagging Rams

Looks like Wentz to the Eagles.

I wonder if we could get some of our draft picks back in a trade for Bradford?

I'm actually buzzing about this now

It's not every year you get to draft the best QB

Remember watching Goff take on Utah earlyish last season and he turned the ball over 6 times i think but still kept coming back unfazed.

Seems to have some mental toughness thats for sure.

The Rams did what they needed to. A productive QB was the missing piece of the jigsaw to make them a contending team. They simply had no choice but to trade up, and Goff was the exceptional QB in the draft. They also picked up a pretty nifty pass catching TE. Added to Gurley and Austin as well they've got the makings of a very tidy offense.
