He's only managed to score 20+ goals in the league twice, the same number of times as Rooney. Until he does it for a third time then he's really achieved nothing.

Lets use this method.
If two world XI's were playing each other he would get into one of the teams.
I use this method because in 2008 (for example) there were probably 10 would class CM's

How could you use that method if you just said there were 10 WC CMs in 2008. Using your method there can only be 4-6 WC CMs.
