You can't blame the manager for that shambolic defending. I fear for England this Summer if Jags and Baines are playing.
Very disappointing though, I thought you had them there.
You were awful in the first half, we should've been about 3-0 up at that point. You fought back well in the second half but overall we deserved the win, Lukaku was so cack. In all 3 games he's played against us this season he's been anonymous.
Who would be the big name? Martinez has underperformed but not sure who Everton could get in that's better.
Forget Big Dunc. I have more chance of being appointed, even on a short term basis.
Don`t ask me who, because i just don`t know, but i do know that a plaster on the hull of the Titanic wouldn`t do much to stop it sinking quickly.
Man Overboard, by the end of the season. Sadly we will not get to sing "Abide With Me".
Only in that 2nd half did we show any desire and fight! A display that's been missing for a long long time.
What the hell was Lukaku doing taking that penalty? Where was Baines and Barkley? Where was the captain?
No way did we deserve to lose that.
Well, hopefully now he's gone and we can start afresh next season - put in Dunc as interim for now and let the search begin.
My preference would be Koeman although it would take some cash to tempt him from Saints and we'd have to have a good future plan to tempt him,
Let's see what this Morishi is made of, time to put money where the mouth is shortly!
Moyes got sacked at this stage of the season after losing to Everton. Could LVG done it to Martinez but maybe at the end of the season.
Such a strange game. Not sure either team deserved to lose that game.
That defeat wasn't down to Martinez though even if a lot of the failings this season has been.

That's why most of us think he should be sacked and today's score was irrelevant.
thought everton a little unlucky......this has to be the worst man u side since the ron atkinson era..I fancy palace to win the cup this year now...
I blame him for coaching the first touch out of Lukaku!
Second half dropping Gibson deeper to let Stones move forward worked well. It's a game of fine margins and again Joel had a good game and Besic did okay at RB apart from the bloody first goal
I thought RB was our weakest point, Martial was having a field day - all our problems came from that side,

Look at those stats against our recent match against Crystal Palace a few days ago. I know the final if they make it they will have more of a go but we were extremely dominant against Palace in midweek.
This United side is the first one to go to an fa cup final since 2007. Not that bad and usually very organised.
Few months back, best manager in Liverpool now he has become a joke manager. Deluded clowns
I had hoped that after Everton equalized that they would go all out to win. Instead, they played like Arsenal and camped out in their own half except for the occasional breakaway. It was there for the taking, but once again, Martinez played to not lose, rather than to win!
Once again Lukaku was useless. Does this guy ever win a high ball in the middle of the field?
With regards to Barkley, as in the Liverpool game, he appeared lazy and slow. Unless he is injured, I suspect that he wants to leave. Everton should let him go to the highest bidder.
Oh look here he is
Muff, you still haven't answered the question
When was the last time you and your fans went to Wembley with West Ham for a major compeition?
Don't forget now, pop concerts and play offs do not count! Think about it Muffinboy.... think ..... when was it??
A Little Mic of good and bad fortune today.
The OP would rather have hoofball than football ?
Your style of play is good...You control most of the games you play...It's just the defence that's let you down
So your answer is that horrific Brit solution to any footballing problem....Hoofball
Actually the finishing was Everton's bigger problem yesterday. So many great chances. If it wasn't Cleverley having air shots it was Lukaku making crap touch after crap touch. Then ironically it takes a United player to score for them.
From an outsiders view I'd have to say that a fair amount of players have flattered to deceive or just been outright disappointing this season...
Mirallas has done nothing
Kone had a good 4 weeks
Deulofeu has been streaky
Lennon has been ok
Any thoughts around this? Genuine question.
The only thing that has been consistent this season is our inevitability to defend.

You mean your inability?
Inevitability to defend makes it sound like you're doing a good job of it.

Doh! My inability to spell strikes again. I think if we could get the players to work as hard as spurs do with the way Martinez wants to play would be good, but unfortunately Martinez isn't up to the task imo
I have a bad feeling that Martinez isn't going to be sacked by kenwright
