If you're waiting for Albert, there will be a lot of hanging about.
Hi Groovy nice to find somebody who knows who he is.......Did you have to goggle him , I would be very impressed if you didn't
That would be giving the game away, but no google never came into play.
TBH I only knew about him because he featured in Alan Basstarrds the new statesman
Apparently the film about Albert, staring Timothy Spall is amazing, yet to see it myself.
Hello Muswell Hill
My old stomping ground I lived all my teenage years at the bottom of M.H just of Priory
Tmiothy Spall is a stunning character actor

I'm hoping to see him in the play, The Caretaker at the Old Vic. I saw the play Hangmen with David Morrissey and there was a funny scene with an actor playing Pierrepoint.
Afternoon Canspur
I was very lucky that Mrs Squid was a nurse in a Hospital close to the west end , all the theatres would send tickets for the nurses as they didn't like empty seats .......We saw so many shows all free
BTW Canspur do you ever listen to radio 4 extra they have some great radio plays on ranging from crime to classics and I believe they have done the Caretaker recently
Groovy you still here ? Literally never come across someone so boring. Just fack off

No, maybe I should. It is very expensive now to see a decent play in the West End. Tickets for The Caretaker are about £50-£60, but as you say, Timothy Spall is a very good actor so it's worth paying.
Chronic afternoon mate how yer doing
Groovy was fine on this thread and posted some intelligent comments

If you enjoy comedy and drama then it really is worth a look.....Just put Radio 4exra homepage and it should come straight up
Hi squid. I am fine.
Sadly groovy seems to be stuck on our board like a daddy long legs to a window and the ratio of his comments is about 9 boring attempted wums / jokes to 1 serious comment

I've been to a few fringe productions and they are often excellent. The last West End comedy I saw was The Painkiller with Rob Brydon and Kenneth Branagh.
He is doing a UK tour with this show its over 3 or 4 months and there are West end dates and even some larger venues........My Mrs loves Rob Brydon and gets a lot of his stuff on her I Pad

If you enjoy comedy and drama then it really is worth a look.....Just put Spurs's title 'challenge' and it should come straight up
Your charisma goes further than most, but then again who believes in farther charismas?

Chelsea fans are just so bitter these days and if that idiot posts on here again I will delete it without even reading it
was that the same idiot ive just deleted or was it a different one
I have seen Timothy Spall in Turner. That's a great movie.
But I would expect one about Pierrepoint to be rather black and somewhat depressing. I can see how he might have some fun with testing the weight and length of the drop prior to the actual hanging.
As for Dembele ..... how is Spurs appeal to get the number of games reduced going?
