Mancini got sacked for getting us second and didn't get afforded a goodbye, I have no idea why people think Pellegrini should deserve one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's helped to deliver 3 trophies in 3 years. What do you expect? 9?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, I don't particularly care about the trophy haul. What I expect is not to see the same tactical mistakes repeatedly for two seasons, a lack of foresight in terms of squad planning and slow football.
He was brought in as a yes man for our hierarchy who sacked our previous manager for less, then haven't acted this season to what was blindingly obvious before their eyes.
Now fans could stay behind and applaud, I know a few that have. Personally, I think I would be a hypocrite considering I hold him to blame for the fact we probably won't get top four and have won only one game against a top eight team all season. I'm sorry, but co spidering their own expectations, if it was judged on success, then that's pitiful. I'll judge it on style of play and tactical competence and that's been pitiful too.
I wonder how many would have stayed behind to give Moyes a send off...
Football fans are hypocritical, fickle generally.
Get over it.
We back our managers and even Moyes was well supported by the OT faithful and wasn't driven out. LVG has had fantastic support and everyone was willing him to do well but it's also change for change at OT again.
And it's got sod all to do with entitlement, it is to do with why sack Mancini. I've said a few times, in terms of enjoyment of football, I actually preferred it when we were a yoyo club.
It's hypocritical point scoring, either staying or going are both perfectly valid.

Yeah it is but it's nice to highlight those amazing fans city have - accuse us of being glory hunters and all sorts yet empty a stadium quicker than days kids leaving the gym.

Yet here you are still looking to argue.
But it's got sod all to do with "glory", like you said, he's won us a cup and got us to the CL semi final.
It's do with the fact that despite that, we have regressed a considerable way under his tenure and his predecessor got sacked for far less. More than that, the football is painful to watch at times. The difference to when we were bad was that at least it was the best the players could do, this year has been far under that.
I don't support Pellegrini, I support the club and the board and him have made some stupid decisions this season.
Not arguing answering back to a classless fool who mocked someone during a bereavement because he didn't go to a game.

its a tough job being a match attending supporter... take being a United fan...as one on the 76000 you actually represent the other 500 million fans who dont//wont/cant be a5edto/ go
If I was a City fan I wouldnt even acknowledge this article.
If this is what money and big name signings brings to a club then I don't want nothing to do with it. Completely souless club at the minute.
I know we won the league, but down the KP yesterday is what you call an end of season send off.

it was pretty special
Whether you like him or not it's a pretty poor effort from the fans to be honest. It's not like he's deliberately sabotaged you and he has won something every single season he's been at the club. Deserves better than that

Who calls a death in the family, a family thing...
No he hasn't, we didn't win anything last year.
Like I said, I'm fine with people staying, I'm fine with people going as I don't think it should ever have gotten to the situation where he was allowed to have a goodbye - most managers don't get that benefit and for doing a better job than he has this season.
