Madrid are atm looking for replacements for Ronaldo. There aren't many around Europe more suitable than Martial.

We keep hanging around Ropey league places and he'll be gone next summer

Of course, I'm just trying to look for a sliver lining if/when we don't.

We give away silly free kicks every single game we never learn our lesson.

When you are really crap at defending set pieces you have to stop giving away needless fouls. It is that simple.

Also if the players can not motivate themselves for a must win game, especially after what happened on the way in, then they have to question why they are wearing the shirt.

And LVG has to go after Wembley, which we will lose if we can not raise our game to the level expected.

Thats the thing I don't get Vidicschin Van Gaal complains about us being a small team but yet we keep giving away unnecessary fouls I really don't understand it.

Bobby Charlton would be turning in his grave if he saw tonight's performance.

Smalling infuriates me for this too. Gets away with quite a bit too.

As you say, we need to be a lot more intelligent when it comes to tackling.

We were asking for trouble gifting free kick after free kick to a physical side who relish set pieces, set pieces that are delivered wonderfully by Payet.

So so frustrating on our part.
