There should also be money from sales of
One of Szczesny/Ospina
Debuchy
Hayden?
Campbell
Walcott?
Wellington
I'd be more concerned by the fact that Kroenke has now called our bluff, and proven that he can stroll into the Champions League with a minimal outlay of cash.
£54m on top of money and wages freed up from looming departures, so probably £70m-80m overall. But no doubt we'll see a poultry amount spent and teams like Stoke will be splashing as much as us. Very predictable.
"But no doubt we'll see a poultry amount spent"
Yep we will bid some discount coupons on Chicken Katsu curries for Xhaka
If, after very little spent over the last couple of transfer windows combined with our monster revenue we only have 50m to spend this summer then something is very wrong.
Wages must be stupidly high vs the quality of players at the club to cripple the transfer budget.
Either someone is withholding funds, someone isn't willing to spend funds or we're grossly overspending on wages of average players. I'm inclined to believe that the funds are there but our greedy owner is digging into them and our manager is also too scared/deluded to use them and of course we're overpaying average players - we have for over a decade with our daft socialist wage structure
Net spend will barely reach £30M in the summer
havent bayern spent our budget already, the atmosphere at the emirates is toxic as it is. This report and say we lose to Villa i wouldn't want to be wenger.
50m net spend it quite a lot, reckon a few players will leave as well to add to it.

Probably doing a Aldi or Lidl, sure to be a couple of German cheepo's
Out: Shezza, Rosicky, Flamini, Arteta, Gnabry, Hayden, Debuchy, Zelalem , Damian.
LANS: Akpom, Yaya, Jenko, Ox
Sounds like the bloke has little in the way of facts and is making a lot of guesses.
Funny how the sum equals what our average spend has been over the last few seasons.
Why would Gnabry, Zelalem and Damian (Emiliano Martinez I assume) be 'out'??

The competition for places might get rather crowded for their respective positions.
A few of them are getting a bit too old for back-to-back loans.

My friend don't misjudge Aldi, once in a while you will find some terrific products
£54m plus player sales should be plenty, assuming we can get a top striker for around £40m, that leaves at least another £20m or so to buy a decent backup at CB and a 3rd choice DM as cover for Coq/Elneny
This is old news to people with more than one brain cell
Absolute joke if this is true. we had £120m last summer, have made far more since including tv money and they say only £54m available. If thats true wel over £100m has been taken out of the club somewhere.

Godfather is right. The fact that Arsenal have 200m in cash not 200m in transfer money was known at least a year ago. The 54m transfer kitty was in the papers 2/3 days ago at least (but is likely the same as it was last year...). And in order to have more to spend, Wenger will need to sell (not Arteta, Rosicky or Flamini as their contracts are up, though it does free up wages).
So yes, old news.
