No, but not fully Rosbergs fault either

How was it Lewis' fault? Ran off the track

Looks at best a racing incident. At worst crowding off the track in a braking zone. What works in Rosberg's defence is that he was already steering hard right before Hamilton got his front wheel along side.

Racing incident.

Hamilton reverting to type as soon as there's the tiniest bit of pressure back on him. Absolutely brainless.

Spanish GP: Can 'Karate Kid' Lewis Hamilton chop down Nico Rosberg?
I didn't think they meant literally. So much damage all because Rosberg didn't allow space and Hamilton diving in to early into the race and Rosberg bad exit.

The last nine Spanish grands prix have been won by nine different drivers. From top left to bottom right: Nico Rosberg (2015), Lewis Hamilton (2014), Fernando Alonso (2013), Pastor Maldonado (2012), Sebastian Vettel (2011), Mark Webber (2010), Jenson Button (2009) Kimi Raikkonen (2008), Felipe Massa (2007)

Not surprised at all, has been coming for a while
It's another messy Vettell-Webber rivalry which is never healthy for a team and is inevitably internecine. Mercedes must decide who they should keep between the two, or live with the consequences of an unwanted, explosive rivalry between their drivers.

Agreed. So far they've got away with having a car that is so much faster they could have their cake and eat it. Renault bring their new engine and Red Bull will be a lot closer. Close enough to expose the weakest part of Mercedes F1: the pitwall/management.

Max Verstappen win makes it 10 different winners on Spanish GP and youngest GP winner on debut for new team. Astonishing even nore so under pressure all race.

Yes, I can picture the two of you in the same ward. Two flew over the cuckoo's nest.

"""Not surprised at all, has been coming for a while..""

I'm not sure those are suitable grounds for today's events but if they are then I won't be surprised at all when Hamilton drives Rosberg into the Monte Carlo harbour, after all, it's been coming for years.

Let's just hope those super-intelligent, fair-minded and impartial stewards see that as just a racing incident too.

I have the feeling they won't though.

Post on Mercs Fbook page is interesting. Basically the steward enquiry says, nobody is to blame. Rosberg moved to defend his position...SIMULTANEOUSLY......hamilton made move to overtake.

Basically eludes to the fact that the time scale was so small, that no driver was to blame.

I think fair all in all.

Hamilton needs get his socks pulled up now
