mistakes do happen, i actually heard it was the Utd players that left it there; they couldn't stand playing another game on Sunday under LVG tactics

Hilarious incompetence from United. Should cost them a few bob in fines and compensation to the fans.

Fack me this mob will do anything to not play a game......!!!!

posted on 15/5/16

Well, they're actually saying it was left by a private company.

But the club must have been aware of the exercise. Presumably they are kept informed when people are roaming around the stadium and leaving fake bombs in toilets.

Better to be safe than sorry though

Somebody is getting sacked tomorrow.

A ploy to try gain an advantage. With City getting a point, it hasn't worked out.

Does anyone believe this? Seems like the authorities are making sh|t up to prevent country wide mania. Biggest cover up since Watergate

Best possible outcome.

Better someone from the security company making an enormous feck up than it either being a real bomb, or even a fake one.

How would United be taking the hit? Not really sure you can blame United for the incompetence of a private security company.

united will be fully to blame. if they employ incompetent firms then that is their responsibility.
They should know what is going on in their own stadium.
As i said, there is no way they would agree to accept this version that makes them look bad

Which in turn meant it was ok to smash up the bus and make it even later when it would have reached the stadium is plenty of time.

If a private firm fecks up, they have to pay the price, this should be fairly common knowledge.

Two cōck ups here.

Leaving a convincingly suspicious decoy after a training run, for a start.

Missing it again when doing the required pre-game sweep of the facilities.

The second one worries me the most.

EXACTLY! given they had this exercise only 4 days earlier, you would think it would be in te clubs interests to make sure all the "props" had been cleared.
Even if they werent, pre-game sweep was obviously poorly carried out.
biggest stadium in the country and massive failing...worrying

Do you think this company had a reputation for incompetence? Did Manchester United, one of the biggest franchises on this planet, flick through the yellow pages and find "Dave and Barry's security" to do this drill?

The security company, whoever they are, are most likely a huge national organisation and someone there fecked up.

That is Uniteds fault?
