Nah, getting to finals is something to be proud of. Obviously winning them is preferable, but you lot don't really know much about either..... Can't even win the North London League ffsOh but you did win a game in the CL once that had you all thinking you were top dogs in Europe. How did that end up?

this is quite a poor effort

getting to cup finals and losing them is nothing to shout out about...

for example the cup final we lost last season is barely spoken about.

infact I was there and the experience has been etched from my memory.


small timers like yourself and maf see it as an achievement though

Nope, you're completely wrong. If you can't see that a cup final appearance is still an excellent achievement, especially in Europe, then you're a bigger mug than you come across. I can only think that Spurs fans are so starved off success, and get to so few finals, that you just aren't capable of getting it.

getting to a cup final and then totally facking it up is absolutely nothing to boast about at all...

revenue generated by a cup run aside, you might as well have gone out first round, thus is the irrelevance of a cup final loser.

You'd have a point if a team was getting to a couple of finals each and every season, and losing them. But it doesn't change the fact that it's still incredibly difficult to get to a cup final, especially a European one. Hence, it's an achievement.

I can't see how you can argue with this?

considering the size of club, it is hard to argue against Liverpool being a total mess at the moment.

OP we played in the Champions League more recently than Spurs
