Grow up, was Van Gaal your dad or something? I didn't see him complaining when we were talking to him behind Moyes's back two years ago. He knew the industry he's in, and he is getting £5m and a retirement to his paradise in Portugal. Any sane person would sell their left arm to be in that position.

I am not saying LVG was treated badly, I am referring to the habit of sacking managers after they've won you trophie(s), just like Chelsea, or Madrid for that matter.

Actually I don't, as we discussed yesterday.
The strongest team LVG had to beat to win the FA cup was West Ham, and needed a replay at that.
The fact Palace had a chance of winning the FA cup shows you the context of that trophy win. It's not because LVG did exceptionally well or even decent in his spell in charge.
He only wanted 2 years anyway, so, had Man Utd agreed with that, he'd have been out of a job.
There was no need to keep LVG, he didn't want to stay really and Man Utd didn't want to keep him.
Man Utd believed he could do better, he didn't match up so he was replaced.
Don't see the issue idiots are trying to make over it.
