Never been able to get into Super Rugby. Did briefly for a while when Giteau was with Western Force

Wow, pretty surprising that. You won't find better quality of rugby anywhere maybe outside the tests. The NZ teams have been serving up caviar rugby every week this season.

Don't blame you though, could never get into NH club rugby myself. Not really a fan of the style of play employed by a good number of teams there tbh.

My favourite matches are predominantly forward contests. Weird maybe

Rugby Championship starts soon Blarmy. Great way to kick off your Saturday mornings if you're hungover. Lie back and enjoy some quality rugby. Will be interesting to see how Australia respond to their 3-0 drubbing, I expect they will be wounded and eager to bounce back.

Not weird at all mate, you're old school, just like me and appreciate the finer points unlike these Johnny Come-Latelies who are only satisfied if they can see the ball moving quickly. They haven't a clue what's going on when they can't see the ball because they've never played the game at any level. Yet we pander to their wallet.

It's says quite a lot about you that you feel the need to be this condescending over a sport.

I was going to give you an in-depth response about elitism and grass roots, then I checked your profile.

Know what, I'm not going to bother responding because you probably wouldn't understand. It probably says more about your life that you feel the need to trawl (or is that troll ) around sports forums at 4 in the morning looking for things to annoy people about.

Yes, more condescending crap from you. I'm laughing here because I know you think you're making me look bad. You must be a top dude! Another thing, try to look up how different regions can have different time zones.

OK, so you're trolling overseas forums, good for you.

'Ow do Demus mate, don't you just hate it when a-holes come on here thinking they're clever (see above).

Anyway, to more important matters, since we haven't conversed for a while. What do you reckon on Eastmond to Wasps? Big loss for you I think, especially with Devoto going to Exeter as well.

Maybe Blackadder has a cunning plan though. Sorry mate, but you will get lots of Blackadder reference about Baldrick and Mrs. Miggins' Pie Shop etc. .

I think you've got yourselves a very good coach there. Did a decent job when he was in Scotland a few years back. He was involved with the national team as ad-hoc forwards coach around the time they became a much improved unit in 07.

Looking pretty disastrous for Bath to be honest, we barely have a squad as it is. Eastmond was deemed not to be worth the contract Ford offered him and notified of this via email (which was pretty bad if you ask me). Blackadder will need to be as cunning as a fox if he is to turn this around for next season!
Never been impressed by him to be fair, turned a world class Crusader side into an average one imo. I will give him a clean slate though and see how he gets on. If we qualify for the HC I will be impressed.

Yes Demus, perhaps another season of pain and disappointment awaits us both.

Not overly confident for the Saints either. I think we've been overtaken and long since passed by others. Exeter won't go away, Wasps are the coming force, Sarries will dominate again and the Tiggers are the Tiggers. Our two sides will be battling with Sale, Quins and Glawster for the 2/3 remaining HC spots. Could be way off here, but I don't see Bristol or Newcastle featuring much, though Worcester could be the dark horses.

I'm planning a predictor for the GP/AP, whatever it's called these days, and the Pro 12 to see if we can get some interest going other than just the 6N. What do you think?

Really? You're really a humongous cantnugget. You're the one that came in here with condescending crap after all I did was state my preferred style of rugby. My conversation with Blarmy was pretty decent. Yet I am the a-hole Get over yourself mate.

I'll take part in any predictor yeah, never watch the pro12 though so I don't really have a clue on that. Or the French league for that matter too.

And I think Northampton will have a much better year than us, from an England pov I would like to see Mallinder get a full season at 12, see if he can challenge for the England shirt by the end of it.

Sad news today that Australia centre Christian Lealiifano has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Hope he makes a full recovery in the coming months and good news that it has been caught early.

Been very impressed when i've seen him for the Wallabies, real blow for them ahead of the Tri nations as well.
