Duke - great OP, take 5 mate
Just saw a few tweets about this tonight on my return home - used to have lunch with Kevin and his good lady Susan when were all at Glasgow University in the late seventies - you couldn't meet a nicer couple - let's hope he is found safe and well
honestly what the feck is going on over there.
The stadium security seems non existiant.
Constant fan trouble in the streets.
Interesting Stevie
Undoubtedly a great writer even if I disagree with some of it he is far from the typical headline grabber
A couple of friends have been in his company and thought Him clever and charming
I hope it's just a bender gone wrong
Duke - hope you are right pal, but, from what I remember of Kevin, he wasn't the type to drink to excess.
Good journo ! Strange though in these days of mobiles etc . Hope he's well and safe .
According to this he is found
Thanks to all those who RT'ed previous messages - it made a big difference. An English fan found Kevin - bless him. So relieved...

Lau - great stuff - wonderful news
Really impressive that I am the only Tim on this thread - some good Bears (rightly) not giving 2 hoots that the person in trouble is a fellow with "Celtic sympathies"
Good news indeed, there is enough scheidt going on over there without decent journos going missing
(You don't have to agree with an opinion to respect it)
Not always a fan of his stuff but by the standards of some he could be pretty fair and balanced
Im glad that was important to you in your decision to hope the man was ok
Well, to be honest I wouldn't give a fck if Phil McWoodengun was missing cos he's an absolute cant who writes a load of schiedt expressly designed to stir up hatred
But who would laudrup read?? Think of the children!
I always thought the guy was pretty impartial and professional while employed by the papers.
Unlike people like greenslade. Good to hear he has turned up, wonder what the story is
I'm not sure of the background to this but it seems Mr McCarra was missing for a matter of hours. Anyway I'm glad he's fine.

If Stevie drank with him in uni then I can only imagine the doddery auld fool went out for a drink and left his Zimmer frame somewhere and forgot where
Thon auld kants are not known for having a good memory

Hey Curly - less of the "doddery auld fool" stuff - I am still in the prime of my life - as I was trying to explain to my new wife on our honeymoon last week .

Cheers Curly - brilliant Adriatic cruise - sailed from Corfu to Slovenia, Venice, Split, Dubrovnik, Montenegro, returning to Corfu. The ship itself (Thomson Dream) was excellent from a food, service and entertainment perspective - I know cruises aren't everyone's cup of tea but we really enjoyed it and would wholeheartedly recommend it
