German finance ministry says there are concerns France, Austria, Finland, the Netherlands & Hungary could follow UK's lead in leaving #EUref

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm trying to draw some consolation from this: the EU is not in great shape right now and maybe, just maybe, we've precipitated something that was going to happen anyway.

Just a thought about the NHS…

Junior Doctors currently have a hugely unpopular contract hanging over their heads. They will have voted overwhelmingly to stay in the EU (young + highly educated) and they have the skill-set to emigrate anywhere…

Good luck with that

Just read something that got me thinking: Come October when Cameron steps down, the UK will have had 3 un-elected Prime Ministers in the last 10 years.

There is such ignorance on basic levels.....and it's tantamount to child abuse to pass your hatred on.
Not just with racism...with all prejuidices.

We elect a parliament. It's up to the parties to decide who's in government .

The most surprising is Wales voting to leave. They gain the most from the EU, alongside Northern Ireland.

Addendum - they gain the most from EU, out of any country in the EU. Instead they've put themselves in the hands of a London tory government.

It's like a darwin award nomination.

My Nan had new windows and a new kitchen because of EU funding; today, she's living in a tent (without windows).

Yes, I know that - if you want to split hairs. However, people generally vote on either party loyalty or their perception of a party's head. This will be the 3rd time in 10 years that a person will become Prime Minister without his/her party getting a majority vote in a GE.

Boris would have had no chance here: his head is absurd.

Two Resignations and an unwanted coalition proves that the system is not very good.
