No, but I am sure the PFA will go all out to ensure it remains in place.

First thing I did was check for a response from the PFA.

I'm sure they'll come out guns blazing when they do.

The bigger issue for us, I think, is the ability to import youngsters. The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Hector Bellerin, Wojiech Szczesny, Francis Coquelin, and the current youth players at our club like Jeff, Jon Toral, Serge Gnabry.

Could be the last generation of foreign kids - and while we have English talent like Chris Willock and Reiss Nelson - I think that will seriously weaken our hand going forward.

Think there is a chance we will have stricker home grown rules for the PL, and a great decline in quality of the league.

Don't worry, it will soon be 32 countries qualifying. Even we won't fall to those depths.

It's a good thing we'll have at least 2 years to see the effects of this.

I can see the PL clubs remaining relatively immune, since they only go for elite talent.

It's the teams further down the pyramid who will probably see a much tighter market for players, coaching staff and other sports science professionals.

That will probably be enough to keep us occupied through the whole summer

They've actually stumbled across a good format now...no dead rubbers and frantic third round matches to qualify 3rd

Could be good for the national team

I cannot see Bosman changing. Players are contractors, and when a contract is up it is up. It was a flawed system.

We currently have a cap on foreign players....only 17 over the age of 21. This may come down slightly, but there have been talks to do so anyway.

I think it will be the quality, not quantity, of imports that we see change.

That is not true, though, is it?

Well no, you can have as many as you like but its pretty pointless if you cannot register them in your squad.

Hopefully we lose the ridiculous situation where Fabregas is classed as homegrown, but Eric Dier is not

The second bit was more the point I was making. You can have 25 foreign players, just as long as 8 are HG.
