Greaves, I'm not being funny mate but poch clearly forced Levys hand on this one mate. If he was truely backing poch then he would of bid 30 mil this arfternoon and not 45 mins until deadline ffs!!! Anyway, we ain't signed anyone yet

Its easy to call your fellow fans moaners, but the majority are simply calling it as they see it. There's not many calling for world class signings out of our range. Simply want to see the squad strengthened for aCL season to give the club we all love a fighting chance.

Spot on Don. Other clubs do business long before 22:59. Year after year Levy likes the attention of Sky in the last hour with failed Mountinho bids etc etc . F'in buy earlier to secure the deal. We are in my mind still a creative CM player short.

Don................neither of us know exactly what was bid or even when it was bid.

Personally I think the fee is around £10m more than Sissoko is worth. Unfortunately market forces rule & players are moving for far more than they are worth all over the place.

So that is Wanyama £11m, N'Koudu £11m, Janssen £17m & Sissoko £30m, totalling £69m ( total above rectified

Sissoko can play in midfield, or on wings so a good back up & under Poch I think we just might see how good he can be

Hope so. At least tomorrow is September which means Harry Kane should start scoring

Testament to Poch and the power he has.

Levy obviously rates him high if he's backing him to the tune of £30m for a 27 year old

Last season we struggled to break teams down, so this window I thought we needed an attacking midfielder, someone who can open teams up, either with pace or vision, Isco seemed the perfect fit (not that I ever thought it would happen).

Now we've sold a few squad players, we actually need a versatile midfielder and Sissoko is certainly that. He isn't by any means world class but he does possess athleticism, the ability to win the ball and run with it. The fact he's played centre, attacking and right mid makes me think he'd be a great addition.

I think Merson was pis sed that we have signed Sissoko, really pleased it has upset the old alky!

Sissoko didn't suddenly become available at some bargain price yesterday, he was quoted as being available at this price the whole summer. Why wait until the last few hours to do the deal? What took so long for the N'Koudou/N'Jie deal to be done considering the issues with the visas and convincing N'Jie to go was sorted weeks ago?

Levy and his need for his ego to be boosted is the answer. We had some feeble bench for a couple of games because he wouldn't hurry up and get these latter deals done. Clearly held off because he wanted to get in on the deadline day action - at the possible expense of PL points. He's not pulled the wool over my eyes even if he's fooled others. The way some people go on here is as if we should all trust Levy implicitly, why? He's not my facking mother ffs.

So unnecessary from Levy yet again.
