Not sure what there is to be disappointed about. We brought in some quality players - Sinclair, Toure, Gamboa, De Vries and Dembele and we made the group stage.

We got rid of johansen, mulgrew and a few other dead wood.

Thats a cracking transfer window in my book.

It's a wee bit disappointing but consider this.

If Ronny or Lenny was the manager we would have got someone in. It wouldn't necessarily have been a player the manager wanted but it would have been someone.

It doesn't work that way now and in the long run we'll be all the better for it. The money that we had available will still be there in January and beyond.

Meanwhile since the end of last season we have signed Dembele, Toure, Sinclair, DeVries and Gamboa. Not to mention the best signing of all, Brendan Rodgers.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic.

Mulgrew wasn't ours.

Johansen was the only one we got cash for the deadwood was only Janko and Allen and they were on-loan, not off the wage bill.

The answer is no, so we have moved even further away from them with our signings.

Thoughts on Jozo?

In my opinion if he is fit enough to pass a medical (which he claims he did) then he is fit enough to be in contention for squad or will he suddenly develop an injury recurrence?

i wanted a CM, but i trust the manager.

We also brought in Ajer and cleared out Scepovic, CKR and Stokes and Cole. Along with Mulgrew and a few others on loan it has been a great window. Sure we could have offloaded more in an ideal world.

What it means is that there is a chance for the young scottish guys to get a chance i.e. Henderson, Christie, Ralston, etc We know Brendan can develop players well so everything is looking good.

Ralston not away on loan?

It's just the hype of last day drama.

Because we are linked with so many world class players it's unfortunate not to get one but we still managed to bag four.
