for all the planks giving me the

wtf is the point in improving the squad if you don't replace players that are not performing with players that you have bought presumably to apply pressure to them?

or are the new signings only there for when a player gets injured?

I don't see it as a long term thing, just send a rocket up their backside, which is much needed.

particularly eriksen.

personally I think dier and kane look absolutely shattered (or just bereft of confidence after the euros with England).

either way, spurs need to start winning games or we will gradually get left behind this season.. we are already 5 off the top with 3 games played.

I see that clown sandy is talking about best players.. but they haven't been the best players this season have they?

the best players so far this season are all in my side v stoke..... Aldy, Rose, and Wanyama.

btw I am fully aware that this side will not be picked.. Poch is almost certain to stick with the same 11 as v Liverpool.

That smacks of someone trying to crowbar in all the new signings out of sheer excitement. Our best 11 for me is still the one that got us where we were last year. Wanyama in for Dembele. Sissoko and N'Koudou on the bench with Janssen. While you're at it why not just chuck in Lopez in goal as well?! Ridiculous suggestion!

no it doesn't.. it smacks of someone trying something new as our first three performances / results have been poor.

excluding Nkoudou who I am genuinely intruiged and excited about and who I want to see play.

I would also say that virtually no two people have named the same side... so its all not quite as clear cut as everyone seems to think

Chronic wants wholesale changes to a team that is actually unbeaten, OK not at its very best, but still a formidable outfit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
3 changes is hardly wholesale changes is it ya dipstick

its about a quarter of the side

Spurs were seven points of the top with three games gone last season, and nine of the top with four games gone last season. So I don`t get your point.

and 11 off the top (I think) at the end of the season,....

it comes down to what you think form is

Chronic you seem to think its all about effort/lack of effort but with your top player you've got to let them play out of their bad form and back into good form.

It doesn't just automatically fix itself by dropping them, personally I'd stick with our top boys

posted on 1/9/16

I would go with 10 of the same XI as we have been, but with Alli in CM, and with Son in for Wanyama.

Sissoko can wait his turn for a start, he will be nowhere near fit enough for Poch and short of top level match fitness. Ditto Nkoudou.

You would drop wanyama? Away at Stoke?

I think that is reckless and am virtually certain poch won't do that

posted on 1/9/16

I'd start the same 11 as last game. Eriksen needs to step up, he seems to go through bad patches but will improve the more he plays. However, if we're struggling for creativity by half time I'd shake things up with a couple of the new boys.

Stupid boy, you said Spurs would get left behind, and then you change it to the end of the season. What an absolute pilchard.

What sandy? You used the gap at the start of last season as some kind of justification. As if by the end of the season we had closed the gap, when actually the gap was even bigger.

You utter clown you have gotten lost in your own argument

Kane and Alli should be well rested after being dropped against Liverpool.

Well said mate, you're right Sissoko hasn't played a match for Newcastle and NKoudou has hardly had a pre season so theres no way they will be fit to start games.
Keep them on the bench and bring them through slowly until they are Poch match fit.

You would put Nkoudou in away at Stoke, yet questioning playing Dier and Alli together?

Yes I would drop one of Wanyama and Dier when other options are there. I have seen no evidence so far it makes us more robust, in fact we have not looked as porous for ages

Nkoudou is an attacking player. Not a player who significantly contributes to us being solid, unlike wanyama

To drop wanyama instead of dier also seems to make little sense considering the form of the two players

Have we been solid so far?

You have dropped Dier from yours who was a huge part in us being solid for a whole season.

Agree in the most part Chronic, but it would be Alli for Sissoko, Kane and Janssen up top for me.
