Great effort from Brook. Showed a lot of heart and demonstrated that his skills are genuinely elite level.

Light Middle is where he needs to fight. Would love to see him fight Canelo and believe he could beat him at that weight.

Golovkin is a great fighter with unbelievable strength, but Brook showed he's not invincible.

CBA with Canelo but he might fancy his chances now as he's a huge middleweight and can also box.. so might think Golovkin is old enough and slow enough to beat now.

Think Canelo would be just too big for Brook (let's be honest, Canelo should be fighting at Supermiddle by now if he wasn't such a show pony for GBP).

Would love to see Brook v Eubank Jr in a years time.. Brooks timing against Eubanks speed and recklessness.

Think Brook would have him.

Canelo has dropped to fight smith at light middle. A fight against the winner is what Brook should be looking at. Canelo will want it as he wants no part of triple G.

Agreed Paisley and it's a fight Brook could win if he can squeeze a fight in before it (broken face aside).

That said, Smith has a fighters chance against Canelo, especially with him cutting so much weight.

Could be Canelo's downfall.. avoiding Golovkin so much that he drains himself too.much to make weight against a guy who he'd beat under other circumstances

No one touches GGG at middle or super middle he's P4P number 1 in boxing without a shadow of a doubt. Brook never had a hope, not his fault he's not a middle weight and it was obvious from the very start.

Big fan of brook and he was brave to step up but back to welter for him and he can dominate that division.

Find it hard to see a better boxer than GGG in the last decade, FMJ depending on what you like and a few others you can make an argument for but for me he he perfect fighter

Those 3 beat GGG IMO.

Best boxer on the last 10 years? Not a chance IMO.

Ridiculous to think Brook can beat Canelo. What is that based on? Only the great Floyd has beaten him and that was when he was weight drained.

I would still like to see Brook try and dominate WW and take on Thurman, Bradley or even Manny but it does seem that he is too big for WW.

Brook showed that without Golovkin's power, he'd certainly not be unbeaten at this stage of his career as a good technician could outbox him comfortably.

The great equaliser for Golovkin though is that power and unless you can take it or avoid it, then he's gonna continue to beat people up.

I know Ward would be unable to make SMW now but he'd beat Golovkin by a quite wide points margin.

Agreed that DeGale would have a good chance against him too if he can stay focused for long enough

Degeale has improved but GGG kos him inside 8, jack the same, Rodriguez bestvchancevif them 3 but GGG hits harder than any of them, he closes the ring better than anyone in boxing and had amazing head movement, a imperious jab and a granite chin, he's been dodged by everyone, the obvious fight is Canelo who won't Ho near him till 2017 at the earliest.

P4P number 1, will take BJS belt to unify MW then up to super middle and unify that too, going to go down as one of the best middleweight ever talked of in the same breath as Hagler and Hearns, just a pity no one wants to fight him, they know what happens if they do, he stalks them, takes whatever they can throw, corners them them breaks them with fast accurate and outrageously hard shots to body and head.

I know not everyone will agree with me but I'm 100% confident everything I've said will happen, he's the real deal, a truly gifted fighter, has it all and no one punches like him.

I cannot wait till he Kos Degeale who is a total sap but to be fair a good fighter, would also love to see him smash George groves in pieces but groves doesn't deserve the be even on one of his under cards.

Froch GGG would have been a great fight but Carl's new nose Pretty much confirms he's finished.

GGGs the man, the number 1, going to go finish his career as the me of the sports finest fighters. A real boxer and again I'll say nigh on the perfect boxer.

Brook was in no way out boxing GGG, he landed some nice counters but backed GGG up twice at most with good shots that HGG took with only a slight step back before closing the ring (no one does this like him currently) a good technician could try run and jab but won't avoid him for 12 rounds as GGG corners anyone, will take one to get inside then land that left right combo and once hurt ( GGG hurts everyone at MW or SMW) GGG finishes them, too much power, accuracy and excellent head movement and footwork.

Ward is the only boxer I see him having a serious problems blend with but be a boring fight cause ward wouldn't engage

"had amazing head movement,"

You've been watching a different fighter to me the past 5 or so years then as he has no head movement. It's his biggest flaw and why Brook was able to find him at will until he picked up the eye damage and couldn't effectively defend himself or fight back any longer.

The uppercuts he landed were a perfect example of Golovkins inability to move his head.

Brook completely exposed GGG last night, that's why he was so bitter in the interview after the fight, think he'd win a rematch, and Brook would smash that over rated ginger bum Canelo to bits.

Probably Guv, buts that's being hard on Chocolatito who just won another world title in his fourth weight division.

I know the wee guys don't often get as much credit but he's a phenomenal boxer.

Kneerash lay off the charlie mate, GGG had zero head movement

Typical Eddie Hearn con job, GGG walked him down and stopped him mid way!!

Well there you go imagine that, Brook could have carried on and if he didnt hold the welterweight belt would his corner have pulled him out so quick??

Another Hearn bill taking people for mugs, Brook had no chance, the undercard was a joke and it was so hyped up by Sky Sports that the usual crowd turned up and bought the PPV.

Eddie doesnt give a monkeys and now he rolls on to his next PPV with AJ and another no-hoper that again numerous mugs will buy into.

The good outcome for this is Brook- who is a good fighter but was expolited by Hearn- wont be headlining a PPV again, although dont be surprised if Eddie and Sky hype up a Brook/Khan PPV, another one I wont be paying for!!.

I have BT Sports, Sky Sports and Box Nation yet Hearn/Sky still want more...........

He has a broken eye socket, of course his corner would still have pulled him out regardless of welterweight belts as we all suspect he'll not make welter again.

He was starting to take shots in the 4th without reply and the fifth was a continuation of that buteven more so as Brook was unable to defend himself or throw anything back due to his impaired vision.

It was an even fight til his face gave way. An entertaining fight too with a good undercard.

Completely forgot that the Khan fight could now be made with Brook as Khan has no excuses now about being the bigger draw or that nobody in America knows who Brook is.

Brook's stock has risen a lot despite this loss.

you must have watched a different bill or listened on the radio, the undercard was rubbish apart for the last few rounds of the Haskins fight

I don't know what you expect of full boxing cards, some folk are never satisfied I suppose.
