Brett Pitman hopes to right the wrongs of Friday night as Town travel to the iPro

Brett Pitman is looking to banish any negatives and only take the positives from Friday's defeat at Reading as Town return to action.

The Blues travel to the iPro Stadium to take on Derby this evening, and Town's number 11 wants build on a promising second-half performance at the Madejski Stadium.

"To lose any game is tough but to lose it in the manner we did was even harder to take because I thought we deserved at least a point on out second half performance," he told Ipswich Player HD.

"We were frustrated to come out of the game with no points but we can take positives out of how we performed, how we pressed and how we got about Reading.

"We need to take the positives on, not just into the Derby game but beyond that, and hopefully we can start picking up some points.

"They've made a few changes, made a few signings and obviously spent some money but they haven't been picking up the results they would have been looking for at the start of the season so hopefully we can continue their run and beat them tonight.

"We try and win every game. The gaffer has never said to us to go out and draw the game, so tonight is as important as Friday was, and as Saturday will be."
