No university worries for me as mine went through before course fees were introduced. My eldest (why not oldest) even received a grant.

I am thinking of enrolling on a course next year as I have discovered even at my advanced years I can still get a student loan to pay for a STEM course. What is more I can control the draw down from my pension so I never have to pay it back. Yes the rules are crazy so why not exploit them.

I once gave serious consideration to getting a job. But it wasn't the sort of life to which I was best suited.

If that happens, We just have to carry on. It would be extreme stupidity to sack Pearson now. Mel made a decision and we all must abide by it.

I agree Heb, work is for people who like work. It just gets in the way of having a good life for most people.

My youngest grandchild just starting at Manchester. Others all through. The last one just started work as a doctor. will spin my time now, on holiday, travelling, gardening, cooking - and watching Derby County.
