You do seem to have had a number of players in the last few years who enjoy hitting the deck, even one of your centre backs do it. Whereas it's just probably a problem with balance an assumption could be made that there is a foul involved with many of them.
Even your £25m+ rated midfielders main attribute (bar running about a bit in the middle) seems to be taking tumbles around the edge of the box, mistakenly earning free kicks that you miss more often than not

What mitigation Fridge, such they are genetically inclined to be like wild animals so can't help themselves. That only refers to their fans who aren't pink seats. Their players must become infected by the toxicity of the kennel to make them behave like their fans.
What can they say when the evidence is so damning.

To be honest though, I don't think the refereeing at this level really helps either of our cases. A lot of the time a little bit of common sense and authority (without harsh cards) could mean that we wouldn't be up there on the last. In referees I understand that common sense is something the Football Association make great efforts to put a stop to.
It has so often been the case that a prestigious fixture such as ours is deemed by the FA to require a more "prestigious" referee. They aren't used to the rough and tumble of A. The Championship and B. a full blooded game between two local rivals ad they invariably end up having a negative impact on the game.

They certainly don't make easy viewing; disgusting to see a professional footballer act like that, and even though we all acknowledge the struggle he's had coming up from the lower leagues, there's really no excusing it. Thank goodness the authorities have acted swiftly to try to eradicate it from the game.
