It would appear Bill Shankly was wrong.

Think it's the least they can say. There's no football rivalry when a fan dies going to watch his team, and when so many are injured.

Get well soon bears.

Pov

The fact that a young man has lost his life today on his way to supporting his team is just beyond words

POV.

Posters can fall out and make up again.

This lad is never going back to his family.

Cruel.

Just awful Quinn.

Saw the reports a lot earlier and just thought "hope no one is hurt. Been out all day and on way home on train to read this.

Just following a passion is all.

Brought everything back down to earth.

Fair play bhoys.

We are all fitba fans, and human.

I am sure kind words from Celtic and all fans will help the family at this awful time.

Horrible news, thoughts and condolences to the family and Bear community

Ginger I always think of the small details in these events.

There'll be personal stuff lying on his bedside table.

He probably flew out in a hurry saying 'I'll get that later'.

Followed a well worn routine with his mates.

His poor folk now left behind.

It could be any one of us at anytime. The guy is 5 years younger than me, and that scare me.

1 is 1 person too many, and we can only hope that all the others recover.

I just got news a good friend at work lost her brother yesterday, and then heard about the Rangers boy passing, on here.

Life is too short.

I've suffered loss like everyone else on here.

Parents, siblings, mates.

Been lucky in the sense that I had time to prepare.

Dunno how good I'd be in a scenario like today's.

Like Ibrox, Hillsborough, Bradford etc.

Going to support your team and not coming back.

Tbbab all you can do is be there for your friend, a kind ear is one of life's greatest treasures

Thanks Steve....the girl at works brother was a big fella, taking a year off work ..... to rest and loose weight, and waiting for an op, then this.

I bored posters a few years back with several family and friends passing, making me depressed, but am out the other side, and realize how precious and fleeting life is.

I have seen both sides of the coin mighty, for the sudden one I wished for preparation, for the one I watched suffer with dignity stolen I wished they had just been taken, both ways hurt as it should.
