Klopp - Bullet dodged?

Bayern don't have the global popularity Arsenal do.

They basically give their tickets away as well. We have the highest gate in football (£100m a season).

So where do arsenal keep there European cups and that goes walh head shaver 👍

Liquidude, it's close between Arsenal and Bayern. Arsenal probs have more fans but Bayern are more successful. Could go either way.

Yes , Klopp dodged a bullet !
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah he really dodged a bullet by not getting the opportunity to manage one of the Top 4/5 biggest teams in sports, in the biggest market (London) in Europe, and coach players who (temporarily) retired Lionel Messi - Ozil & Sanchez.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Out of interest, in all of sport who do you consider to be the 3/4 bigger teams than Arsenal?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

United, Real & Barca are the only ones I would say are bigger.

Chelsea are close.

The big US teams; Cowboys, Lakers, Celtics, Patriots etc. don't have the global reach that soccer teams do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For a lack of reach they do ok really don't they.

But I'm sure you're right, the 4th biggest team in all of sport last won their league 12 years ago and have never won the biggest club competition. That seems pretty likely.

European Cups? That's how you define how big a club is?

Value and fanbase aren't the same.

Our fanbase is bigger than any US sports team.

Maybe through official Adidas stores or something. Most football top sales are unlicensed and don't get logged.

But there's no way Bayern have more fans than Arsenal (or Chelsea).

You'll never see Bayern shirts in Asia or Africa.

Bayern: 3.05m followers; 30 following
Arsenal: 8.15m followers; 159K following
Chelsea: 7.42m followers; 235 following

Although this article is a joke.
People laughing at Ozil being the best playmaker in the world are stupid. And are quite clearly jealous.

Almost as embarrassing as Dortmund being in the relegation zone at Christmas, like they were under Klopp's watch?

posted on 3/10/16

But Klopp teams do have a habit of being run into the ground.
No way Liverpool can keep on expanding the large amount of energy they're expanding.
They're making up for the lack of ability with huff and puff. Klopp needs a better team.

Maureen had Chelsea in the relegation zone last season whats your point?
