Out of the 44 matches only one involved a Scottish club, I'm sure he will get a warning

He'll get a ban as tye rules say any football game.
Simonsen, Black and that Moffat lad have been recent too. Definitely a ban in my opinion
Don't understand why footballers are so stupid with gambling when they know it's against the rules.
It's just a simple rule that comes with their job which they should adhere to.
They have no excuse.

I can understand it with part time guys and stuff. But guys on thousands should just leave it out.
Or get a mate to put each line on who can keep quiet.
Bluenose - have you filtered Lex?
Gambling is part and parcel of most British football players lives, they nearly all gamble and a large percentage of them have gambling problems, it's a massive thing in football , to suggest it's only the odd individual player is nonsense
lex has to be one of the nicest guys on here
Maybe it was Lee Wallace in disguise as a compliance officer

Is it simply football they are not allowed to bet on, because if that is the case it's a ridiculous charge getting caught when you see the multitude of sports you can bet on.

Believe its any football game in the world.
Only in Scotland would a footballer be banned from betting on the outcome of the Afghani Cup quarter finals !

Although it's against the rules and he should have known I think it's a crazy rule ! As long as he's not betting on games he's involved in why shouldn't he be allowed to stick a bet on ? Makes no sense that rule !

Must have done years ago. What for I can't remember.
TBH, when you guys signed Joey I thought it was an inspired signing - just the kind of player you needed. I even said so on here.
Turns out he's the Messiah, he's just a naughty boy.
