Jury's out as far as I'm concerned.
Watched a Netherlands game last week and he scored a cracking goal, hit the post on another, and contributed to other goals.
If he can play for them, then he should be able to play for us.
Also, he's 22.
I'm waiting for a while ... maybe Xmas before giving him the "Soldado mantle".

He's definitely a good striker, its just whether or not he will settle in the prem.

Soldado was a very good striker in spain but never settled, Iago Aspas continues to score goals in spain but was truly woeful with us.

Hopefully for his sake he settles.

I thought he was excellent last night, awful decision of Poch to withdraw him. Obviously he needs to start scoring, but he was easily our best forward for the hour he was on. This season will be a bedding in one, because once Kane is fit, he will Iikely be back on the bench, but he obviously has talent.

If Janssen had played like he has, and scored as little as he has, for any other club we would be calling him a flop.

He may well hold the ball up well but £17m for a Kevin Davies is bad business.

Hopefully he will come good - but I'm not exactly jumping through hoops yet - and my jury is massively still out.

The stick we all gave Giroud when he couldn't score - yet we can't even be consistent with our opinions when it's our signing.

Some fans on here need to grow some thicker skin & just be honest about what they see
