Torn calf muscle apparently. just what we need
Unconfirmed reports only so far.
The geezer has played with little break for so long, it is no surprise if he starts picking up these sort of injuries.
At least you went out an got that top class striker.
L..
Luke..
Lukas...
That one, top class he is. can't remember his name though.
A Rangers fan whose favourite player is a Stuttgart player on loan from Arsenal
Unhealthy obsession
Ideally we should try and not to jump to conclusions. Alexis could have anything from a muscle pull to a grade 3 tear. If we are fortunate to have either a pull or a grade one tear the rest he is having now will contribute to his recuperation and will be back in two or three weeks max
Should I send in the next patient?
Bad news if true he's been playing brilliant football
It's fine. we have Giroud who can slot in seamlessly... ah wait
Well it didn't take long for the curse of November to come back and bite us. So unlucky with injuries.
No Alexis = No trophies. We really are that dependent on him.
Hope its nothing serious. See this is why I get annoyed at fans who are like "but we have this player and that player missing, when we have a full squad we will do this and do that" because you just know it's gonna jinx us
Injuries are sure to ruin yet another season. From November until late March we will be injury ravaged, it's a given.
Being kept in Chile for their second game, so can't be too bad.
Probably a bit of DVT.
Yes............. great news!
Hope hes out for months an you struggle.
Welbeck
Perez
Cazorla
Per
Sanchez
Here we go again!
Hope he stays in Chile for treatment because if our incompetent medics get anywhere near him he'll be out for the season. Colin Lewin . When are we going to get rid of that waste of space?

Sanchez has been and injury waiting to happen for a couple of games now, though I'd have bet on it being the hamstring that went myself. I find it hard to fathom why, by now AW doesn't have any idea when to rest his players to avoid injury. Actually scratch that, it's cos he listens to that idiot Lewin.
I find it very odd that someone who is supposedly a physiotherapy pioneer/genius could have so little grasp of the concept of fatigue
LEWIN OUT!!

The best it could be if you are correct abt the reason why he is being kept in Chile dj. He is a mentor and emotional leader for that team so it maybe for morale reasons. We will find out soon anyway. They did describe the injury as low grade.
TBH I'd be surprised if he's fit for the United game, especially if Chile plan on playing him when he's carrying a niggling injury which they probably will
