We've been dreadful playing on the counter this season. We're at our best when we retain the ball, move it about quickly and play through the lines.
I thought Sanchez has a muscle injury?

Minor one, he got through pretty much all of Chile's game last night unscathed and scored twice, just was taken off once they had the game wrapped up. Barring any complications, you'd expect him to start.
It's fair enough if that's how you've been playing, but we always play better against that kind of set up. I'd argue it's better for you to try and stifle us than it is for you to try and match us, because if we both play on top of our games I think our side would be the one in the OP. Especially without Zlatan, your side basically demands you'll play with pace.
Anyway, I've seen dozens of Mourinho sides against us down the years and the set up rarely differs. I'd be surprised if he didn't stick with his tried and tested formula, but would be happy if he didn't.

With Carrick screening and Rojo and Jones fighting for their jobs, I don't call that a weak defence. If I'd change anything at all it would be Mata for Lingard for the 1st half (maybe). I like the idea of a pacey front 3 in this match though. Hope to see this, and not Fellaini in the 11, please God no.

I actually think this has been our strong point this season that we are so dangerous on the counter attack. Our problem though is we have wasted over 100 chances.
