The UFC is no angel. They routinely fleece their stars by paying them a pittance. Their rankings system is almost as pointless as boxing's now as its all about who the biggest draw/box office is as opposed to who's beating who.

At the end of the fight one of the commentators said there were two X factors. 1 the knock down and 2, a Russian fighter, fighting and American hero in Las Vegas. Says it all imo

Personally I think people who don't have the intelligence, either emotional or actual, to understand the complexities or subtleties of the sport are killing it far more.

You know the sort of moron, the kind of idiot who thinks every close decision is some how the biggest robbery ever and a sign that boxing is dead and has to make stupid threads about it.

Rather than been able to look at stuff objectively and understand why a close fight didn't go the way the thought it went they think it must be a sign that all of boxing is corrupt and a clear sign that only they know what is what.

Yeah, those wastes of oxygen are the worst.

First time I've ever heard Ward being called an American hero

A lot of boxing fans can't stand him as his style of nullifying opponents is often terrible to watch. I'm in that category.
