So many positives.

Mkhitaryan the biggest of them.

Even had a little bit of luck!

I'd put Valencia up a bit and Shaw down a bit.

Pogba was very good but took his foot right off the gas at the start of the second half; Jose has to talk to him about that.

Mata was quiet first half. Both he and Mkhi were in and out of the game a bit. But when they were in, they were good. Love Mkhi's brisk, accurate, flat passing.

Ibra knitted things together well. Some excellent interplay between the forwards tonight.

Wonderful cameo from Lingard.

All in all, a very, very good team performance.

Just got in from work. Looked at the result and a quick glance at the team sheet. Looks like a solid result on paper. What was the game like? As good a performance as the score line suggest Some?

Thought Ibra was dreadful.

Pogba was very good tonight but I wouldn't say he was our best player.

He was key in our first three goals.

He's frustrating in his lackadaisical manner sometimes, and his finishing still needs bringing back up to scratch, but he's such a valuable player to have around.

Yep.

It's so frustrating: if we'd beaten Arsenal, Stoke and Burnley, or even two of them, our results-form would look excellent.

Mkhi was better than Mata and much better than Zlatan who actually despite being involved with a couple of the goals was extremely poor in his all round play.
All in all though a very good fluid performance

United's strongest xi all season = United's best result all season.

put smalling in for blind, and, perhaps, darmian in more often and united can start to rebuild.

send martial and rashford to the reserves to learn how to play at the required level. sack lingard and herrera and things may just start to improve.

Ah that was good to watch although when we couldn't get the second I was thinking these are gonna get a jammy equaliser the way the games have been going lately.
