Apparently the story with Çiftçi is that, unsurprisingly, Celtic want rid of him permanently. They said to Utd that if they didn't shift him in the window we could have him on loan from the end of January. Don't think that really suits us waiting until then to be honest. Who knows.
As for Sammon, hopefully he's the kind of player who can hold the ball up for Andreu or Murray. To be fair he's been pi$h for a while so we'all need to wait and see.

Exactly what I was thinking. Andreu especially needs a player to hold it up and bring him into play.
I can see whoever we bring in starting most games and Murray coming on as an impact sub with his pace. It should work well.

i like playing hibs and united.
Not sure about Ciftci as he may have the attitude of this will be easy. He never was much of a team player, but he is talented.
Sammon could be just the type of striker we need, and apparantly he works very hard.
It is very sad when the folk you enjoyed watching on TV when you were a kid turn out to be insatiable nonces <>
Çiftçi would be very risky. Either he gets back to his best, or far more likely he's pash, gets played too often, doesn't perform and throws a strop any time he gets dropped.
