Can is never going to be a top player. You might need to change your user name. He's not fit to lace the boots of Gerrard, Alonso Mascherano, Souness or even Sammy Lee.
I agree about Karius he was good and he has the guts to distribute the ball well and do it quickly.
We need a player to replace Mane in January otherwise our season will go into a tail spin.

He's a much less effective player wide than through the middle. His form has dipped since coutinho was out and he went out wide.

Firmino always looks a much better player when Coutinho is out, as he gets to play through the middle.
Can is 22 ARE, when in form he's a better player at 22 than Alonso or Mascherano were. Just stop springing to ridiculously quick conclusions, he's just hit a poor run of form, every player in every squad does that.
If you fail to beat us on Sunday it will mean you've beaten us just once in last 8 meetings ( Europa leg one) And we've been very poor for this period.
I think too many of you have got way too carried away this season. You're improving but you are still long way of a great team. Your squad isn't good enough at all.

Carried away? Whatever you say we are currently second in the league, still in both cup competitions and 5 points clear of you lot right now. I think it's fair that we've had an excellent season so far and that's been down to our squad playing brilliantly.
I'd expect Liverpool to perform better against United, so I wouldn't be using this game as the example. They've played well against all of the top 6 this season and will probably raise their game for this one.

Our bench had Origi and Coutinho on it and our best attacker and defender for the season are both missing. And as we aren't in Europe our squad doesn't need to be as big as yours.

Cos bringing phil jones and fellaini off the bench is such an enviable position. We've got 4 of our key players out at the moment. It's hardly a surprise weren't not playing wonderfully. Take Pogba, Ibrahimovic, mata and Bailly out of United States team and see what happens.
City and Chelsea are the only teams with any kind of depth in the league. And they're both still hugely reliant on their centre forwards.
