Who's better?

Mata, Mkhitaryan and Pogba

3 players who were labelled world class at their previous clubs who immediately got demoted to just being good players the moment they signed for United.

It's amazing how many people on ja606 don't think Mkhitaryan is world class. He had a terrible couple of months for United being dropped and injured and all of his work at Dortmund became irrelvant.

They were all sold because they wanted to leave 👍🏼

The players coming out before/after they were sold and telling everybody that they wanted to leave gave it away.

Klopp just came out in his press conference today and called Mkhitaryan 'world class' unprompted. He chose to call him that when he didn't have to.

Drogba often lost the ball a lot compared to Berbatov. Drogba's strength is a myth. Great logic.

drogba did lose the ball a lot, but that was from his passing if your gonna wum, be creative.

thats nonsense, mata is a class act and mkhi although quite hit and miss will settle and be class.

I like the utd fans on here in general but the defensive approach to pogba is silly to say the least, the guy obviously can do great things, but his shooting in the most part etc has been poor, his strength is overrated, he's quite lazy at times and has not settled nearly as well as some utd fans are saying.

He's linking up well with zlatan atm, but henderson has been arguably better this season. There's nothing to get upset about with that.

exactly. Had a better touch with his chest than his foot. Two touch max he was fantastic, any more and it was 50/50.

You're wrong about Pogba's strength, though. He more held his own against Wanyama and Dembele, two of the strongest midfielders in the league.

I don't know if you've read all of my posts on here mate but I explicitly said that Henderson was playing better than Pogba based on this season.

Pogba over the last 10 games has performed better and better though and no longer resembles the player you described. This guy has been creating chances for for fun almost 50 through out the season so far. His range in passing has been amazing and has shown amazing strength and balance with some of his dribbling.

What he is lacking at the moment is goals, his shooting is hit and miss at the moment but even that has improved slightly.

Pogba was without doubt considered World Class while at Juve hence his fee and the likes of Madrid going after him.

Mkhitaryan has only been hit and miss for United, he has been consistently brilliant for Dortmund.

Both players are improving with every game, they are new players and needed time (some don't)

For me it feels like all that they achieved at their previous clubs has been nullified because of a couple of months of bad form for United.

A better question for this thread would be who would you rather have over the span of the next five years? Would anybody then seriously consider Henderson?

Pogba is only better than Hendo on paper and will remain so until he proves himself to be better in real life which will take some time.

Mkhitaryan is a great player.

Pogba is too much of a show boater for me. Times will come where he is just not too bother IMO.

henderson is a runner.

Pogba has achieved 20 times more than Henderson during a shorter career, he has more individual honors and has played/playing for two of the most prestigious clubs in the world.

He wasn't only courted by some of the best clubs in Europe for no reason, he is also praised by his piers as being pure class in at least two his seasons at Juve.

Henderson has achieved almost zilch compared to Pogba yet some how it's Pogba who has has to prove him self.

Is that true? Can't recall him being called anything other than a very promising player. Madrid may have shown some interest but they obviously didn't rate him high enough to warrant spending bale type money on him. I don't think he's world class, he's not far off, but he's not quite there yet.

Baz Tard you've never heard other players and managers rate Pogba highly?

Can a player win all of the above while playing regularly? I add regularly just in case somebody wants to do the old John O'Shea won such and such rebuttal.

Yeah probably a bit like the Firmino/Depay, Januzaj/Sterling and Darmian/Clyne comparisons.
